As a new owner it’s difficult to know which training methods are too harsh for a Boerboel vs the desire to correct certain behaviors. More training videos would be awesome. Thank you

I got my Boerboel from a rescue and have basically followed suggestions from your videos since I've had him. He's 185# and has the best temperament, I don't think he would ever bite me or my 2 year old daughter. Who he is absolutely great with. Other people though. Especially if my daughter is there, that's a totally different story. Never taught him to protect but he seems to inherently know who is "weird" and deserves attentions and who is just a person in the world.

I always read you need to have a big as garden.. do they really need that? An are the fit enough to hike 9 km? Read a lot of different stuff about it.. Had a cabe corso especially for guarding cuz my last one ( rip ) did a great job. Relaxed nobody could enter the yard, etc. But my last one eve. Let immigrants anoy my son and steal stuff out garden house... is this somethingthat it possible that happens aswel with a boerboel.? I gave the cane corso tho her sister so she stayed in pack and on advice from a trainer I took a dobberman, but waw not even half as relax as a cane corso. And doesn't do the job neither.. Help me out guys please. Need a chill family dog that protects when necessary and can como on hikes, like my first cane corso

The thing about kids and big dogs the dogs may tolerate the bulling from the owners kids but unfortunate that will install insecurity when faced with unfamiliar kids witch can lead to the dog snatching at the unfamiliar kid/s seen it firsthand we warned the owner he never listened and it almost cost the live of the Dog. a Snatch from such a big dog can cause serious injury never trust a unfamiliar dog with your kids!!!
