Me personally would rather use the micron gauge rather than vacuum pump gauge. I like the method of pulling the vacuum from one side of system like the suction line, and hooking up my micron gauge to the other side the liquid to get a reading of the full system. But at the same time that’s an expensive vacuum pump so you want it to work. I don’t blame you.

I agree with your setup. The Micron Gauge on the vacuum is an additional tool that allows you to see that the pump is working and pulling down.

Fielpiece is the top dog and will always be top dog I’ve had mine for 6 years and have never experienced any issues. Pulls an average vacuum in about 45 minutes if that… quit being cheap and get quality

How many cfm? Whats the maximum vaccum reached?

This is a 12 cfm pump and pulls down to 15 microns. Also available is a 7 crm and 9 cfm.

Why have a vacuum pump with a built-in vacuum gauge and other pseudo electronically useful things. Elitech is, in my opinion, one of the most generic brands for HVACR. Why not invest completely in well-known brands? I have had a CPS vacuum pump for more than 4 years and it has never had a failure. obviously carrying out all its maintenance on time and keeping it in a hard box for transportation inside the van. cheap is expensive!

Mannn I don’t now about Elitech…. First product from them and it lasted like a month and half. Try not to judge companies off of one product, but it definitely made me not wanna buy more from them

@@WWHVAC the wireless PT800&PT500. They making it right but it’s been a pain contacting customer service. And not to impressed with the gauges almost thought about refunding them

I purchased them a long time ago and was disappointed. They are improving, so hopefully, they will improve that product in the future.

Its not Elitech...WW HVAC damaged it. He was trying to repair it.
