if you don't know, there is an op loadout for multilane maps that converge paths early. this loadout is farm, brawler, and merc base (at the time of writing, its still op I believe). this can be used to solo infernal abyss. now lets take a look at elite's loadout. from what the op loadout can do, we can assume that DJ paintballer and engineer have slightly less firepower than merc base. merc base isn't always op in every scenario, however once it stacks, its dps skyrockets. usually while using the op loadout, it will stack hundreds of grenadiers together. from experience, merc base would be doing around about few thousand per base (considering during my testing it oneshot a necromancer boss, which has 14k hp). minus engineer's firepower to the loadout, and you realise that the paintballers are also doing thousands of dps. i repeat, thousands of dps. and I will repeat one more: THOUSANDS OF DPS FROM PAINTBALLERS. ofc this is inaccurate because there is no way a tower that does about 25 dps can deal thousands of dps when spammed. but this is just putting in perspective how powerful and useful paintballer. in a nutshell, paintballer op

If paintballer is doing 25 DPS exactly, and elite spammed 40 of them (placement limit) it would do exactly 1K DPS. However because of engineer, brawler, and DJ, elite did not place 40. Thought I believe the paintballers DPS to be closer to 28 than 25, and because engi, brawler, and dj have a combined placement limit of only 17, elite still placed 23 paintballers. 23*28 = 564 DPS, much less than 1k however that is without splash, assuming paintballer hits 12 enemies a shot (only because triple lane and they meet in one spot), 564*12 = 6768 DPS. Which for a starter tower, that costs a LESS THAN A THIRD OF WHAT YOU EARN FROM A MOLTEN (150 coins), it’s OP, especially for new players. It also only costs 8.2K to max paintballer, making it extremely cheap crowd control with early hidden, unlike demo,a who gets it at max level and costs more, both in-round cash and coins. Paintballer is actually decent now, much like how military base became a good sub-DPS after its rework, paintballer is a good way to fill up any remaining tower slots after you finish placing the main defense. Although mini gunner has no placement, it’s much more expensive, to buy, place, and upgrade, by a lot. Sorry not sorry for ranting. TL:DR The paintballers in the vid had 6K+ DPS if they hit 12 enemies a shot, which is likely from a 3 lane map. Paintballer is easy to obtain, and cheap to use in rounds. Good for new players to handle crowds, demoman is similar but gets hidden on the last level so it won’t work for hidden waves. The 6K+ DPS is combined DPS btw…

TDS is slowly living up to the "simulator" part of it's name. What's next? Rebirths (you lose all coin and gem unlockable towers and exp but get an exp, coin, and tower effectiveness multiplier)? Tower trading? Tower leveling up (like how pets can level up)? Charm trading? Charms actually giving boosts to gameplay (like pets in simulator games)? An AFK farm or a place where you can click and progress in the game? The game already has lootboxes, "pets" (in the form of charms), a spinning wheel, and lots of bright colors to attract young players.

I’ve been spreading this around, but if you change your loadout in the intermission in matchmaking you can easily glitch. Basically when you change any tower, for example crook boss for ace pilot and this only works if it’s changed in the intermission for matchmaking, you can place the tower all (example:ace pilot) you want. (This only works with 2 or more people) If you leave the game and rejoin your match instead of the tower you switched too, (for example ace) you have the original tower (for example crook) I don’t know if this works with the entire loadout.

Is no-one gonna talk about how buggy this update is? Not only when I tried to use paintballer, it had no animations at lvl5 and did 0 dmg at lvl0 (I used green paintballer, maybe the skin is glitched?), but the daily spin has different rewards for everyone, not the ones suggested in the update log. My friend got a spin ticket from completing a round, but wasn't awarded it... Loadouts don't load in PVP mode for some people (myself included), instead giving you scout and sniper to try and win with. The update log is incorrect in many places, with obvious grammatical errors too ( such as "added new range range visuals"). The daily reward system is broken, resetting everyone to day 1, every day. Not to mention, rewards are also different in the daily reward system - My "grand prize" for completing 30 days is 10 spin tickets, not a deluxe crate like it probably should be. These are all mistakes I HAVE FOUND in the short space of playing this shoddy update. Sorry for the essay lmao
