for the toxic gunner's total damage, here is an explanation, when it target an enemy, the toxic gunner seem to have a stored value of the enemy's hp to make sure the " strongest " targetting system work correctly, however it seem this hidden stored value was put as the total amount of damage instead for example, if you get a toxic gunner to target the void reaver, the toxic gunner's " total damage " will be the same number as the target's hp ( the void reaver's current hp in this situation )

Executioner on release could solo hardcore, with one troop. Due to executioner being able to hit anything when the axe was glitched, the only thing you had to worry about was hiddens. (The glitch would make the axe hover in place one tapping any enemy when they reached it)

For those who are wondering. The toxic gunner has gotten a fix which gave it a buff by letting the poison last the actual 5 seconds instead of one, making the tower much more reliable for slowdown and an overall better tower then it was prior.

Toxic gunner is still broken, it's supposed to make enemies 10% slower each shot till 50%. Now it only slows down for 10% and no stacking.

Toxic Gunner at the bare minimum need to be able to slow down enemies by 30-40% for 8 seconds, and bosses should get slowed down for AT LEAST 15-20%. (It makes zero sense for a support tower to be invalidated just because one enemy is big)

Me personally, i love to set my Toxic Gunner to Random whenever it has reached Lvl 2. Since you got the slowdown effect, it's also useful against hordes of enemies. I use this whenever im farming Atlas Colosseum on Molten, whenever i cannot do Violet Party strat

toxic gunners gimmick was that it slowed enemies, but there used to be a glitch that made them perma slowed, but it got patched which ultimately nerfed it.

I know how to make Toxic Gunner good again! Once it hits an enemy it slows it down by 10% and with every 3rd shot it will slow it down by 5% until it reaches its cap which should be 40%-50%. The DPS should stay the same or lower to balance the slowness.

Yeah the executioner bug made it better than toxic gunner ever was. The dps of an entire map filled with accelerators in one spot at an extremely low cost is much better than just reducing the speed of every enemy by 50%

Now before anyone bombards me about molten being a joke, just hang on. 2 years ago I used toxic gunner with dj and commander on molten mode. 4 glads in the back for hidden detection. The 34 max level toxic gunner survived molten mode and killed everything(except hiddens). That was when toxic gunner was broken, not broken op, just broken. Glad to see toxic gunner get fixed

Percentages were also inaccurate back then, basically 50% means double when 100% is supposed to be double, so commander used to buff by like 2.2x, now its just 1.5x post-rework, which means ONE max toxic gunner made EVERY ENEMY essentially walk TWICE the track, kind of like the extra turn analogy elite said at the start

THE BEST LOADOUT OF TDS HISTORY 1. FARM version when it gave cash to all players and had no placement limit 2. COMMANDER version when coa was stackable. 3 GLADIATOR version when it reached its peak and wasnt when animations were updated and it stoped him from attacking during this 4. TOXIC GUNNER could have been john could have been swarmer but his 50% slowdown and pernament is way too broken to not put him in 5. EXECUTIONER glitched exe that when sold axe would stay Commander dosent really sync with others but its for buffing op glads in case there are op hiddens for an event. HONORABLE MENTIONS/BENCHERS WHEN YOU GET BORED OF REST MILITARY BASE version of the slowdown bug. Only issue is it lags game and makes it frozen for a LONG LONG time. SWARMER amazing dps. OUTLAW basically a synergy with commander ACCELATOR hc testing version. He was amazing. SLEDGER massive freeze, AMAZING crowd control, op when all 6 maxed out, nothing can move MORTAR current version. The clusters are amazing, FLABBERGASTING crowd control.

But i would like to mension another tower i think was a contendor for best tower tds ever saw and that is the exe. Upon releasing, executioner had a bug that allowed it to solo literally anything in the game, whether that was solo hardcore or solo night 4. The toxic gunners bug made it really really good, but i think that the executioner bug made it better. I just want to restate, i do agree that the toxic gunner was one of the best towers, but i do think exe was better.

If you look at the banner for the lunar overture event, you will see, alongside the masquerade skins, the umbra, and necromancer, an unnamed figure that appears to be tossing bombs with different symbols. I think this is the reward for beating act 3. And for those of you who think it's the clown enemy from act two, if you compare the figures they are vastly different in appearance. Yeah there are several things that were overlooked because this was supposed to be a video about the toxic gunner and that was a good title to get people to watch. Outlaw commander bug was powerful, commander in general having the calculations wrong and giving over 2x firerate for several years, this also allowed gladiator to have 800 dps with its ability but I don't actually know if the animation played fast enough for that. Executioner had a bug that allowed you to solo hardcore.

The amount of military jeep bugs out the game and litteraly slows down enemies, slower than toxic gunner.
