Hey! Tester for Project: Tower Defense here, it's currently closed down because the game has been undergoing development for a huge update, but basically it's closed and only available to testers right now. We'd really appreciate it if you played it when it comes back out. Maybe even with a few of the testers or developers. To add, the game actually has plans for a rewrite. This means player data will be wiped except for gems, event towers, and event skins (I'm not sure about old badges though). It's supposed to allow players to experience the game as inteded. We're sorry about the fact P:TD is closed, it's just that the devs are working really hard to get a huge update out in such a small timeframe. Hope to see you on P:TD eventually!

Flavor frenzy is a very well made yet underrated Td. There’s multiple game modes, towers, and unique skins Tower Galactica is also very well made but sadly was discouraged. It is difficult and has a little player base left Spirit Defenders is extremely high quality and laggy. There’s a very small player base and it is still getting updated, just extremely slowly Undertale TD I enjoyed a lot. It’s also been discontinued. I find the Deltarune gameplay more fun than the actual Undertale part Bubble Gum TD is like a BTD6 clone. It’s also been discontinued. Evolution Evade is definitely grindy. It’s been discontinued so the developers can work on a sequel for it being: Time Travel TD. I haven’t had time to play it yet, but it is out Edit: Forgot to mention Voxel TD but I also haven’t played it for multiple months 😅

16:22 So glad to see Arena Tower Defense being reviewed. Saying the lobby is stuffed with little details is an honest understatement as there are a lot of secrets in this game, which results into badges. One example is continuously drinking the Ruby Latte, and another is the code to the staff room. Honestly, the game can be picked up easily as it is not as tedious in grinding compared to other games, and there are at least unique challenges for the boss event which rotates once in a while, also know as Ghost Pepper and Carolina Reaper. And for the modelling, yeah its not the best quality but honestly, it is all simple and its fine anyways. Still cool to see you review the game P.S. yes i am a tester of the game, but i still mainly focus on playing the game itself

there is a game called aether rush that is dead but it was a really fun game, you can control your towers to move around the places, while they can’t die, they can be stunned, there are also capture zones every few waves that allow you to gain extra reward like cash coins and gems if you set units on them and capture it

As a World TD fan I find it really interesting that you considered the gameplay slow. Personally, I always found it's gameplay to be the fastest paced out of all td games on roblox, with even the hardest modes only averaging around 20 minutes. Though tbh, World TD is so far from what's traditionally considered a Tower Defense game that i'd argue it's more of an RTS than an TD which is probably why people have such polarizing views about the game. Edit: Also, absolutely adore how damn brutally harsh you are on the slop gambling td games, most of them deserve it

I love arena tower defense because of endless mode, and how they make all towers useful in one way. For example, scouts gains the ability to attack really fast, and boosts attack speed of other nearby scouts. Sniper gets huge piercing and fast attack speed along with some shockwave effect at max level if the enemies get too close to it

Commenting before watching the video here. I and PRAYING you played World Tower Defense, Critical Tower Defense, and Doomspire Defense. They may not have the best build quality, but can be either challengingly fun, or plainly charming with their style. Hi, back after I finished the video, I'M SAD WTD AND CTD GOT MIDDLING SCORES 😭 WTD's ealry game is indeed slow at times, but the average match is 12-16 minutes long on both Casual and Burdensome, after the first boss, that's when gameplay picks up in speed for Burdensome mode, Casual makes you wait slightly longer for the gameplay to pick up.

Though I don’t play as much as I used to, the waves are endless once you go into endless (obviously), and the boss scaling is honestly absurd, in a fun and challenging way. Like the wave 300 boss has 2 billion health if I remember correctly. Though it obviously wouldn’t appeal to many people due to its theme, which I understand your middling score, but the select people who are engaged in the game would definitely rate it higher.

The most underrated TD game is adventure tower defense, you basically start in park and when you beat that you keep unlocking more areas, unlocking more towers, and after the "city" map the game gets really hard and challenging (in a fun way!). The matches are also insanely short, early game areas take around 10 minutes each to beat (park around 6 if ur fast lol). I definetely reccomend trying it out!

This is an idea I've had for a tower defense game for a while. In this game, it would be pretty generic. However, Instead of the usual spam best tower gameplay, Your towers are champions. What would make this game interesting, is each champion would only have a placement limit of one (You would probably start with 2 or 3 champions). For upgrades, each specific champion would have an upgrade tree instead of your basic 1/2 paths. Every upgrade unlocks others on the tree. You would have to level up your champions to unlock other upgrades to use in game. Each champion would have a class, ranging from berserker to marksmen. A placement type (ground, water, cliff), and a decked out customization system. By completing levels, you could get gear to equip to your characters. Some gear would synergize with specific champions, giving them extra buffs. Some gear would boost stats, and some would have special abilities like giving hidden detection. There could even be powerups that would go from being a one-time damage ability to something that could allow water champions to be placed on land. The goal of this is to make a strategic tower defense game. Seeing as you would only have a few champions slots per game, you would have to be strategic on what heroes work on what maps. You could even have map typings. For example, if you were on a hell-based map, champions based around fire would be stronger. Obviously, there likely wouldn't be gambling. To get skins, there would probably be some currency you get from winning certain modes/challenges to straight up buy the skins you want. Basically I just want a td game with no spammy spammy repetitive gameplay, and a game where you REALLY got to decide if you want certain things. This would allow no heroes that comepletely break the game, and having a system where even the starter champions can match up to the best champions in certain conditions would diversify your inventory (forcing you to grind harder so you can cover all situations with all characters). There would totally be both a story mode and "dungeons" of sorts, where certain levels give certain rewards that do certain things :3 (REMEMBER, this is legit just a concept in my head I decided to yap about. I probably won't develop this [that soon anyway] and I mean like if someone wants to like legit just take this idea and make a game, I honestly don't care if I get credited or smth or not, this is just my ideal td game- If you actually read all of this then congrats you either have a really good attention span or your straight up just think this is a good idea. Good video but I hope you check world tower defense again without playing with random people in public :3 It's a seriously good game...for how unique it is There are multiple types of towers: stationary, moving, building, cliff, floating,... Some long ranged, some made for purely kamikaze for bosses or something else threatening the "cooldown" you mentioned in video is basically a requirement for the game to work since you can just infinity bait any enemy away if there Is no cooldown. There are also accessories to change your tower stats or rework it completely to different types of tower or even using the enemy to fight for you

yeah that's definitely one of the games that I would need to play a lot more to really see the full scope of, but the cooldown is still annoying to me because I need my instant dopamine hit from spam placing towers

@@propellars The cooldowns seem annoying but eventually youll get used to it, cooldowns are here so you couldnt just spam brawler and never let final boss move at all. However there IS an accessory that allows you to spam a singular unit with extremely low cooldown

I feel like tower heroes is so underrated when talking of roblox tower defense games I really enjoy the art style it takes the characters are both creative and feel great to play (it’s not just place down your accelerators and win) there is many viable endgame dps towers difficulty on maps feels great aswell as very open and lifelike maps that you actually like to be in and pretty well paced gameplay and one of the most fleshed out skin, emote and collectables system I’ve ever seen in a tower defense game and a great modifiers system.

One you missed is [🍎Druid] Tower Adventure the art style is blocky but it works well. The main gimmicks are towers can be moved at any time to reposition them on a cooldown, enemies will actually attack your towers so you have to heal them or they'll be unconscious for awhile, and bosses will attack the players. It has a nice lobby set up for single, duos, and up to 4 players. It has quest systems which helps progression. Finally you get 3 towers for free just by playing and so far it doesn't seem super grindy to get new towers.

As a tower defense game developer, we as average scripters, can create the concept of toilet tower defense in hours. All you gotta do is make the rng generation system that is so simple that it could be made in just 2 scripts. Obviously, the actual td part will take longer as you gotta make the whole gameplay, but if I just slap the “drawing 🤓🤓” system and “skibidi toilet 👨🚽💯💯🔥🔥” models my game will basically be toilet tower defense lmao. I am so disgusted in “Telanthric god 🤡” turning from a bedwars KZbinr into a game printer. His bedwars from dollar store failed miserabley as it is just bedwars but bad. Everything about it is stolen from bedwars and no changes were made. I don’t know how in the mind of a teenager/man, he didn’t realise that. For toilet tower defense, he stole the aspects from all star, and combined it with simulator game’s trading, and afk system. When toilet tower defense got released, all my friends just got sucked into it. They never really gave a fuck about me anyways but after that, they just said I was yapping and salty when I pointed out the obvious flaws in the game’s design, and how it will go up quick and die down quick. Unlike my predictions, the game is still up and booming. I really hope that propellers would see this comment.

I got to commets, one is a suggestion, play Paradigm Shift Tower Defense, it was closed for a while but in my opinion is one of the most underrated td games out there, and two is that the furry tower defense has a funny little gimmick where if you have some sort of tail avatar item equipped it wags which I think is very cool even if gameplay isn't the best (I'm if you're even gonna see this since this came out a month ago)

There are 2 different tower defense games on Roblox based on this very little known game named five nights at Freddy’s. One named FNAF: Tower Defense which is much like TDS but with towers based off the game most being original and the only gambling aspect is in skins. The there is Five nights: TD which decided to follow the path of full gambling with summoning towers. The one that has much more free to play aspects and is done out of passion gets hundreds of players while the other that requires gambling and seems to take advantage of the subjects popularity gets tens of thousands. Popular games aren’t always the good ones and taking a chance with a smaller game might make you have leagues of more fun than any popular game in its genre could.
