@@somewhatsurprisedpikachu2887 no the S stock buttons work. The doors always open on release but if the train is at the station for more than 45 seconds, they close to keep the train temperature. At which point you use the buttons to open them again 😎

@@abderian2399 Because the Elizabeth line is not part of the London Underground. It's part of the National Rail network and is a separate mode of transport (with a separate roundel). On the other Underground lines, it's been listed separately in announcements.

@@abderian2399 sorry mate but no, it isn't a tube line by any definition. The Elizabeth so-called "line" is like the London Overground (which incidentally is not known as the Overground line) in every way - a TfL-owned National Rail service, with all of the stations being officially part of the National Rail network. The Elizabeth "Line" also runs on a timetable which tube lines don't. Check out the RER in Paris or the S-Bahn in the big cities in Germany for an accurate corresponding mode of transport in European cities.

I’ve noticed a slight decrease, not massive yet. It was still really busy this weekend. I think when it’s full run-through from east-west there should definitely be a more noticeable difference.

Dead on in 1 hour I’m getting on this to Stratford to white city and back from white city to Stratford. Edit: It was fine on the way there on the Elizabeth line to get to Stratford then I got the central line to Notting Hill Gate and back then the Elizabeth line was DELAYED due to a fire next to the track. I had to get a bus to Romford and get the Elizebeth there and get a taxi at shenfield it was terrible. To me it felt like a nightmare.
