For an old industrial town, Elizabeth overall and its poorest hoods don’t look all that bad. In fact they are clean and well kept which is in stark contrast to both Newark NJ and Bridgeport CT.

I know Elizabeth don’t have a bunch of houses like that the city turned most of the abandoned house into town houses and a lot of the Hispanic and Jewish communities bought house In Elizabeth so even in the poor areas like downtown the port the houses and areas look good.

@@stanley71399 blacks don’t buy property in their communities unlike Elizabeth the Hispanics have really bought most of the property their economy is booming but blacks still go and vote and wait on the politics to create jobs and economic opportunities all those abandoned houses in Newark is low a gold mine if blacks get together and start buying property.

So, only places in North Jersey that you should avoid at all costs is Irvington/Newark Border area, 4th ward in Paterson, NJ and some parts of east orange. danger level these areas is 10/10. For south jersey, Camden, Trenton, asbury park and Atlantic City are bad too
