Elizabeth Tabish on how 'The Chosen' has impacted her faith

"It has reminded me who Jesus is. This show is not Jesus, but it reminds us of who Jesus was and is. And then that has made me go back to the Gospels and like reread these things that I did in childhood, that I loved in childhood."
Elizabeth Tabish, the actress who portrays Mary Magdalene in The Chosen, recently spoke to CNA about what Mary is going through in Season Four, how she has grown over the past several seasons, and how being a part of the show has rekindled in her a love for the Gospels.

The problem is we put our eyes on man and go based on that,our eyes and trust should be on Jesus and Jesus only,the preacher or the members of church can't save you,i cant save you,its only Jesus that can do that,even as a Cristian i have issues and struggles,the flesh wants nothing but pleasure and the spirit wants the things of God,thats what spiritual warfare means,Jesus was tempted and he prayed intense prayers to keep him strong,everything that we go through Jesus was tempted in but never gave in,he paid the price for us because i know i wouldn't of been able to do what he did,the enemy wants something that Jesus has in his hands and that is us,if Jesus would of gave up in the middle of his journey,no one would be here as we speak,people say oh as long as you believe in something its all the same,no its not.
