Jonathan is so brave. Here he is entering the lions den and facing down the hyaenas of the View. Each one tries to get him to approach the story of Jesus through their pet peeves, racism, social justice in its modern form and so called "diversity". With grace and dignity, he steers the conversation back to Jesus and his mission as the son of God. I am so proud of this man who has kept his humility in spite of instant fame and fortune. Pray for him earnestly!!!

I have to disagree with you on this. Now I was definitely skeptical to see him on this show because of its reputation but I think they welcomed him very nicely and well and Whoopi even started by saying she is a fan of him and the show. Everyone was very respectful. Seems like you may be projecting your personality onto the ladies and how you wanted them to behave instead of commending them for a really great interview.

@@trelewis7691 You can clearly see the agenda behind these women, from Sunny saying that she's happy he wasn't a blonde hair blue eyed Jesus, to the clip they specifically chose before bringing Jonathan in. They wanted to push him to talk about modern day social justice and Jonathan skillfully avoided their traps where they wanted him to say that Jesus agrees with their social justice idea of the marginalized. Because who do they think are the marginalized? Women who 'need' abortions, the LGBT alphabet people, groups that Jesus' teachings run contrary to what these women believe is 'just'. They weren't looking for 'Jesus loves everyone, but wants them to stop sinning' they were looking for 'God loves everyone so you can sin'.

We are beginning to see and hear a lot of support for this and a lot of people taking the time to give thanks to Jesus whenever they have the opportunity. Many in sports especially. I believe we are seeing the beginning of a movement, a revival.

I'm watching it now because of the interview and enjoying it so much I wanted to relisten to his interview and am really, really surprised to see how "shocked" & "surprised" people are that he was treated well during the interview. Of course he was! Just the same as all their guests. His story was well received because it was wonderful to hear.

I love that Jonathan steers the topic away from the biased, woke questions (diversity in the cast, Jesus speaking up for "marginalized" people) with answers that get to the heart of what Jesus taught. He used "color" or "shade" to describe people, instead of race. And he addressed the issue of the heart and how love for others is what God wants, not nitpicking at the letter of the law. Good for him!

I cried tears of joy when Jonathan told of his surrender to Jesus Christ. As a born again Christian who has the same relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you just know when someone is saved. But to hear them say it, how they got saved, gets you every time. Just started watching the series, it’s totally fabulous, because I believe Jesus character was like the way it is portrayed in this series. He is compassionate,loving, caring, told jokes, attended weddings, but stern when necessary. We love him because he first loved us.

Jonathan is Catholic, yes, very faithful Catholic, and The Chosen have no teachers, they have consultant: one Catholic Priest, one Evangelical Pastor and one Messianic Jewish, I watched many rounded table with them and saw not heresy, only different point of view about Christianism. Maybe you need to research more...

Our Brother Jonathan did a beautiful job representing for the show and the Kingdom of God. He invoked the name of Jesus as his help with such kindness and truth. These women could NOT be irreverent or disrespectful to Jonathan because Holy Spirit was his standard bearer.

⁠@@yrp237 considering a reoccurring part of the interview here was about his race I think they tried to limit the scope of what would be discussed in the interview. I don’t know a single person who thinks Jesus was white and they seemed more concerned about that than anything else. I wish the people on the show well but even their talking points here seemed limited to their biased worldview. Perhaps there is a second clip that I have not seen though that could change my mind. I do wish these folks well but the substance of the interview was about what I would expect given their track record.

Praise God! I don't normally watch the view, but I just love how the ladies of the view were respectful, graceful and this has got to be my favorite episode of the view. Going on a show like the View concerned me because I am not a fan of many of the things those women say and do. But Jonathan gave his own testimony for many to hear and it was beautiful to see that! God is good and He can reach people even on The View. I pray this helps bring more people to the real Christ.

8:00 the lady almost tries to make what Jesus was saying into something woke, and I'm happy Jonathan articulately answers that question in a way that is true to God's nature and focus, which is less about speaking up for the marginalised (that whole 'marginalisation' talk can go down a very slippery slope and turn very woke), and more about God's just and holy nature

Our family is a huge fan of The Chosen! I discovered the show after season 2 was released at one of the lowest and challenging points in my life. Later, I had the opportunity to cover the series as a news reporter on multiple occasions from their new set in Midlothian, Texas. Being there alongside 5,000+ extras for the filming of the feeding of the 5,000 will be a memory that stays with me for a very long time. This show and the way the characters relate to you on a human level is so unique and I recommend it to everyone I can. I can't wait to see Season 4 in theaters in a few days!!!

Truth be told, I used to be very much against the show, but I realized last year that I was being a Pharisee about it. The moment I asked God if it would be okay to watch the show, I got the go-ahead. I really enjoy watching The Chosen, and I think it opens the door for people to talk about faith. If you haven't seen it, give it a watch and keep an open mind. .
