Abby, Elizabeth was much happier the second time she appeared on Oprah in March 1992. She had just gotten married and was back from her honeymoon. In 1988, the first interview...she was exhausted with AIDS, the book, the perfume company, a back injury and was trying to make a movie. After the 1988 interview, she went back into Betty Ford the second time. By 1992, her life had straightened out more.

Most interviews later were on her weight. How horrid that this is all that people saw. She was so much more. Too bad everyone commented only on her looks, not the depth of the woman she was.

How Elizabeth Taylor put up with Oprah is a mystery to me. I remember this show here in the UK and I thought how rude she was and unprofessional.
