She arose at midnight to pray in her chapel or to visit the hospital ward, frequently staying at the bedside of a patient in pain or fear, doing everything she could to soothe their anguish.

Why not? Orthodox Church hates the political left and Bolsheviks were atheist communists. While royals were living in their million dollar palaces wearing their priceless jewelries, they were telling their people to be proud of living in poverty because Jesus was poor too. There is a tradition in Orthodox Christianity that actually *encourages* living in poverty, I forgot what it was called. The hypocrisy needs no explanation.

How filled with deceit is your mind and heart. The Ukrainian state is persecuting the Faithful Orthodox Christians of Ukraine. Their was no russian state persecuting Christians, it was the athiest run soviet communist society. The only people persecuting Christians in Ukraine, are the uncanonical church, the uniates, and the atheists azov and zalensky. Empty yourself of pride and humble yourself.
