Yes!!! Organized AI layers, specifically the live text! I'm a graphic designer and I can't tell you how many times I've had to recreate the text (which involves matching a typeface, ugh!) in a design because there wasn't an editable text layer. I'm shifting my focus to surface pattern design and your channel has been invaluable - thank you, thank you!

Coming from a long art direction/graphic design career, (warning: geek out) it's exciting to see different methods of production. As many others have mentioned, it was a rare pleasure to receive a professional file (when we used outside sources). Thinking of the receiver, my final files were always cleaned up and straightforward (no puzzles there). As far as SPD, your delivery is sometimes daunting ("how many years will it take to get my biz up and running?"), but I appreciate the honesty and pragmatism, that's why I've subscribed.

Sure, I use it to mean when you design something to a particular size and shape. So for example, instead of a flower pattern all over, putting a few large flowers and leaves along the bottom of a dress would be an engineered print, also called a placement print.
