Believe Charleston to Burnsville is the overall goal eventually but I could be wrong

As of today, the trail is open as far north as Frametown; the section from Frametown to Gassaway will take a lot of work as most of the iron rails and ties are still there in that stretch; that would be quite the ride if they open it from Frametown to Burnsville! and yes, the goal is to take it to Charleston to draw that tourism traffic as I've seen news articles of some of the Kanawha County commissioners supporting that goal

Found this info today suggesting the trail from Frametown to Gassaway is nearly finished: www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1lqB3gCHHHOpyhMRgozJ29uDCiAqM9nms&ll=38.544176156414586%2C-81.0514775931104&z=11&fbclid=IwAR0lXsuqhVc8-HniehUTHa3WeYyaZZEXpUqBr9hvDFJC1I3Rr3ps81ILKDg

Yes but there is a large section in Clay county that may never be finished because the people who live near it claim they own the right of way from the old railroad now. There are a couple of Karen’s who have been fighting hard to stop it.

Groves creek is where the creek emptied out where the camps are. You should have went in the Nottinghams old country store where you was parked. Alot of history and a great place to grab something to eat.
