The way he was acting it must really itch.

You can feel his anxiety to get it off. Then that raw bloody stump, exposed to the air, must hurt! I feel like putting a bandaid on it! Amazing!

Thats cool, I never realized they were actually smart enough to just kick it off haha.

Probably itched really bad till he knocked it off. Then it looked like it hurt. Probably a headache like brain freeze. Then all them damn flies...

I wonder if that’s common, using his leg to knock off the antler. I wonder if they itch or something- and all that’s left is the bloody stump that doesn’t seem to bother them
@antlersadventures23 жыл бұрын
@@radamik this is the first I've seen of an elk or deer knocking it off with their own foot..... From what I have witnessed, it does seem to make them itchy. Have seen them shake their head and rub on trees during time of shedding..It also does seem to bother most of them to have one fall off. It is compared to a human pulling/knocking a tooth out. I have seen some that stumble around from pain and some that it doesnt seem to bother at all.

Actually it does look like it might be painful for him. But wouldn’t that bloody stump be prone to infection before it scabs over….
