For some reason i feel so connected to wes anderson movies. I cant explain it. Its like a world in each movie that connects to big Universe that all of them fit together so perfectly quaint. And i think that is the only way i can describe his films. They are quaint and cozy. I love them!

I think Bill Murray was absolutely perfect for this role, i don't think anyone other actor could have pulled it off better. This movie is not for everyone, first time i saw it i didn't totally get it, but it had some magical pull that i still dont understand but I just couldn''t see it once and forget it. I kept going back and watching it over and this movie grew on me, now its one of my favorite movies.

I read that the role was specifically written with Bill Murray in mind. ;)

This is one of the few timeless films where the narrative changes each time you watch it. The older we get, the more it makes you confront your mortality, as well as how we receive the message on what "family truly means" to us. I seriously always come back to this film whenever I'm dealing with something in my life, & every single time...I get something new from this movie each time! One of the my favorites of all time and extremely underrated! Not many films today can have a plot, & then a narrative that can change with the perspective of the viewer who is watching it and that's what makes this film by Wes such a masterpiece! 👏

I always loved this movie, it is kinda relaxing and entertaining to watch it, very strange atmosphere true out whole movie unusual, bizarre as HjamesR23 sad , and Seu Jorge with that guitar singing David Bowie's songs was awesome addition to whole movie and made it so much better. I often come back to this movie in my mind.

I loved this movie. If you relate to Bill Murray's character and the elusive thing he's searching for, then the weird tone of the film becomes redundant and it's just a great watch.

@DjHamHam411 I know EXACTLY how you feel, because I feel the same way. It's like there's something unknown that just clicks, and everything falls into place. I love all of his movies, but this one is special to me.

I don't think anyone will see this but does anyone know what stack of movies anderson had his cast watch to prep for this? I know he had a stack of movies to have his grand budapest hotel staff watch and I'm just guessing that he did for this one too and I want to watch those damn movies
