With a 30.5" draw length I went with the 31 but did shoot the 27, that bow shoots and holds much "bigger". Mathews has a great thing going with the longer riser. Completely agree on distance practice, we do it to expose technical flaws to be better at normal whitetail hunting distances of

I just traded my Triax for the V3 31. Had them put the Hamskea Trinity on that now along with my Creed. Also had the put on the Hamskea Raptor peep on them as well. Really liking it to. Right now with my arrow setup at 20yds is spot on. Had shoulder surgery so haven’t been able to shoot any further yet. Hopefully soon. Fits like a glove

I've recently picked up the V3 31 for my first brand new bow... 30.5" draw at 76.5lbs with the "A" modules and 85% letoff. I've been shooting a lot of arrows at 110yds with an average arrow spread of 14", I just can not keep steady. Great bow! Hope to see and meet you at T.A.C. San Antonio!!!

I prefer the string angle and stability of the longer bows and shoot both a 31 VXR and a 34 RX3. Being concerned about a few extra ounces of weight or 2 inches less clearance in a blind is overthinking the scenario in my opinion. Paralysis by analysis.

I've heard and read many times that the 27 is great for treestands and ground blinds and the 31 is better for open country. Why? I didn't see any clear winner at distance shots, some were better with the 27 some better with the 31. Why the automatic same decision from everyone with no real reasoning, especially with equal accuracy? Or is that what everyone is supposed to say?
