Assumption is the mother of all F ups. As a bowhunter that’s also a cyclist. 5’9, 165lbs. Look the part. I can’t tell you how many big guys I’ve chased on the bike just to eventually give up. Never doubt anyone.

Great content! I just started shooting indoor targets a few months ago. I am using my back up hunting bow, shooting in a Bowhunter/Fixed pin class. I think it would be worth you mentioning this option as it may appeal to archers who can’t or do not want to invest in target equipment starting out. I appreciate your channel!

Do you know the dates for Montana tac? I was looking at the site last night trying to sell my wife on going to one. I didn’t see any dates for Montana though.

Don't get 60x strings.... My brand new set broke on the yolk loop after relaxing the bow off the press at a pro shop.... They refused to replace the strings and the cams and limbs

As much as people love the single under-nocking point, I still won't "believe" it is better then a 3:6 (approx) top and bottom arrangement. It's the same effect as the single under the 100% more consistency over time and it allows you to micro tune your loop length with greater ease.

Happened to me on a whitetail doe, i was holding for well pass 2 mins, finally got her when she stepped out. I didn't even know i could hold that long and still be accurate. I was shaky at the shot but my mental game was over the top.

Hey Dan I been in a slump this year and could not figure out what I was doing wrong on my setup. My father looked at me when I said this and instantly noticed my peep was too high for me to find reference so I was free floating. Now on my phase 4 29 I’m struggling for sight clearance after changing my peep I lost 20yards of clearance and I’m running a three pin redline slider that is arrow and rest is level thru the riser hole

Love the videos, adjusting to a hinge was a big hurdle for me. Once I became comfotable with the general operation of a hinge, and dialed the release to my drawing cycle, it mad a world of difference. Just like what both of yall mentioned in the video, total shot time is a big deal, and to dial in something such as the click to activte as I am anchoring was a game changer, not added movement or thoughts to activate the click directly, but more indirectly duringthe process, and just setting the click to the proper timing of the shot cycle and then adjusting the fire moon from there, made an even bigger difference. Overall shot time shortened, which directly improved not only group size, but lengthened the amount of ends taken before I notinced fatigue setting in. Its nice to see other guys going through the same process builiding moments, and learn form wathching others.

Im so glad i seen the video. Ive notice by changing my dot to a smaller one for indoor or 3D helped. Now for feild shoots i use either my one pin sight or target (uv3xl dot.

People slipping because they were more focused on “The gadgets rather than the technique and the fundamentals” can be said for so many different disciplines. We are always looking for that thing that will make us better with less practice, but it’s only a pipe dream. Gotta put in the work!

I am almost 64. Been shooting bows and bowhunting since the age of 11. I have yet to have any bow worked on in an archery shop. It blows me away to see men take their bows to a shop to put a string loop in, a rest, a sight mounted, etc. Early on I did have shops cut my arrows for me. Good on her for learning the craft... tuning, maintenance and all.

I couldn't decide between the Lift X 33 or the Mach 33 so I bought them both. I will say I do shoot both really good but seems I shoot the Mach 33 better at 60 plus yards

I just got the lift X and it does not feel dead in the hand at all. It has the most vibration I’ve ever felt shooting a bow. But, it is an absolute tack driver and hold so well. Draw cycle is nice and the back wall is amazing. It’s also extremely fast.

Interested to know if Bodie uses a dot at Lancaster especially in the shoot-up where the 12 ring is in play? If so, is it the same size Joel mentioned, slightly smaller than the 10 ring? Or does he go slightly smaller?? Great video Dan, can’t go wrong having the Turners giving you target advice!!! Thank-you, great info!!!

Would love to see a play list of these videos year over year. I am curious to hear more about the life continuing while your life stands still. I have never heard that theory but have experienced it and am super interested to hear what you know about it from your own experience experience and the lady in the wheel chair
