Ella is the greatest female singer of all time. Singing seemed to be more natural for her than speaking
@christophernewman85565 жыл бұрын
Ella is so humble, she says she hasn't rehearsed and then sings like she's still 25 yrs old. On top of that her mind is sharp as a tack as she immediately adaps the song to make it a personal message for the occasion. Because she always valued her audience so much. It's almost impossible to grasp the full measure of Ella's genius and the complicated emotions that ran through her. She tended to show a very nice basically happy exterior and was incredibly private, but I think some of what seemed like being guarded or too proper to spill her feeling was also due to her being so fast in terms of intelligence that she didn't have the patience to slow down to answer the same questions over and over. Maybe that's why I always sense a touch of loneliness from her, there are so few people who could truly keep up with her?

She missed every note. Ella was great in her prime, but sucked in this video. Not one note hit. The applause you hear is pity. Be honest if you're going to leave comments. She's dead and won't mind.
@confusedarmchairphilosopher Жыл бұрын
@@signforu its true that she wasen't as good in this performance as in her prime, but to say that she missed every note is not accurate. And to say that the applause is pity is ludicrous. The applause she recieved was out of admiration and respect for her career and musical talent.

I listen to Ella all the time. She’s my favorite singer. I’ll watch her perform live when she’s young and full, and then see this and my heart is so full because she looks so sweet! She lived long and it makes me happy to see how gentle they are with her. I’d give anything to be able to go back in time just to see her live. I envy the ones who did!
