Ella Hagen of Summit 1st Place Girls 5K Championship at Roy Griak Invitational

Ella Hagen, a senior at Summit High in Colorado, repeated as winner in the girls 5-kilometer championship race in 18:02.9 at the 38th Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minnesota. Hagen became the first female athlete to secure back-to-back crowns at Roy Griak since Emily Covert of Minneapolis Washburn in 2017-18. Hagen also became the only competitor to capture both the Liberty Bell Invitational sweepstakes title and Roy Griak Invitational championship in the same year.
