Ivy Catherine hired Mr Kate to do the girls’ bedroom and playroom as well as their living room and main foyer when Austin was away cheating probably. Around the same both Joey and Kate left temporarily for their pregnancy leave but promised that they would still do the 4 rooms when they returned. But Austin was like nah bitch and went ahead designing the living and main foyer himself with bulky items (hence the shade) despite not having any interior design experience and I’m pretty sure the living room he designed is in this video, if not you could easily find it and compare it to the rooms Mr Kate did.

I know I’m late to this but hear me out... 1. It saddens me to see how excited Mr. Kate and Catherine were to design the house in the beginning and how Austin didn’t respect them. 2. This video was very uncomfortable and different to watch due to the vide being off. You can tell how Mr. Kate was trying to keep it professional and not walk out cus I most definitely would have. 3. You can see how genuinely excited Catherine is about the rooms but Austin gave me a whole phony vibe. 4. It sucks that one person and their actions can ruin such amazing ideas because they are being selfish. (Talking about Austin) 5. I honestly don’t think Mr. Kate will being designing for them again.

I kind of agree, since they both mentioned how they talked to Catherine about assisting in decorating the house before anything was purchased and the house was still in the development phase. And yet, Austin ended up buying things and decorating the whole bottom floor despite speaking with Mr. Kate and essentially reaching a verbal agreement for a collaboration. Connie DeShazo fr there house is so cold, plain and white! They also have very weird pieces of artwork around the living room. It looks like an abstract museum or something. It doesn’t feel homey or well decorated... even the exterior of the home has terrible finishes.

I absolutely love the fact that they didnt give the other people exposure with their name in the title, links on the bio, or a plug at the end to sub. They may have been professional on camera but they were pissed and threw shade their way. I love this channel! I did look at the video they had for all of 1 minute and can say for sure the girls room/playroom is the most tasteful part of the house.
