I literally had a client maybe 15 minutes after watching this video, like most women she's a super busy mom who is lucky to make it in once or twice a year (thank you balayage). I showed her this cut, sent the link for your video for her to reference when her cut isn't so fresh! She was so taken aback that I'm encouraging her to maintain her hair at home! Such an old school stigma I've personally tried to squash the moment I stepped behind the chair. I know they will argue that it's going to end up with us not having job security...you're kidding... hasn't the internet already done this? I'd rather be the stylist to show my client amazing resources than for them to find shit tutorials on their own. As for job security, these clients now are eager to prebook and try other services. Thank you Silvia for your amazing work and education!

I’m here because of the corona virus quarantine. Never been so busy and my hair hasn’t been to the stylist since the beginning of December. Had an appointment I booked weeks in advance to a posh salon and it’s cancelled and I’m desperate lol so going to try this cut and an easy highlight since they won’t reopen until after May now. I’m sure lots of women will be viewing this soon for the same reasons. Thankyou so much!

ellebangs - eh, not a fan of the black background. It harkens to that of a new KZbinr and you are way more vetted! This video is helpful. What do you think about “slither” cutting or dragging scissors through the hair without clamping down - just glide through to remove weight. So pretty you are!! Xoxo

I never knew about dusting but I am now obsessed. My hair feels SO much healthier after I dusted and trimmed! This is perfect for quarantine, and Thank you for sharing this amazing beauty secret! The salons will never help clients with this!!! SO greatly appreciated because they never help me with my split ends for my entire hair, they only cut the ends. I dusted my hair and my hair not only falls better, but it feels so amazing and healthy now. I had SO much hair sticking out and didn't understand why my hair is never shiny and so tangly, so I really hope this is going to help me grow out my hair without so many broken off areas. My hair really looks immediately soft and shiny after dusting now.

Maybe if I could have Silvia do my hair that’s a different story but you have helped me so much!! Thank you 😊!! Last time a professional touched my hair she fried it off and I’ve never even fried my own hair off... I was honest about all of the processes my hair had been through, I read reviews etc.. this was about 3 years ago and I found Your channel and it’s been on the up and up ever since ! I appreciate how honest you are and how helpful you are it means so much to me and so many others I’m sure.

This was exactly what my crispy ends needed. I was able to take off about an inch and with the cutting into the ends technique it made for a softer and forgiving edge if it wasn't "perfect". My length is (was!) below my bra strap and this worked perfectly. I've never cut my length before, only fringe when I've had it. This saved me time and money. Thanks.

I very much appreciate your channel and awesome tips. This cut was great! I tried your older diy color at home vid with Redken blond idol. It worked well except the newest growth turned out a persistent orange (more strawberry). Light, but orange. Blue Wella toner didn’t fix it, t18 I think. I watched the one where you demo with the wella level samples and undertones inside folder. Super. Cleared up my understanding. I’m gonna have to be a little orange for a week and try again. The base breaker seemed such a great idea, but the new growth pulled so orange. Anyway I’m learning more with every video, so thanks!

I’ve been wanting “no blunt lines” sort of mermaid style haircuts for the last 20 years and 9 times out of 10 I come out with something that is much closer to Pulp Fiction bob than Carrie Bradshaw. This wispy, jagged style is more popular now than it was back then so I wonder why it’s still so hard to get when I request it, even when showing pictures of the exact shape I want.
@etaylor80287 жыл бұрын
Just because the hair sticks out doesn’t necessarily mean it’s damaged. It just means it’s not as long as the rest of the hair. This is because hair falls out after a few years, and each hair falls at a different time (if they all fell out at the same time we’d all be bald every few years), so the shorter hair could just be newer.

Of course the shorter hairs will also be undergoing wear and tear but they will not have near as much wear and tear as the longer hairs and usually do not need to be trimmed.
@TheGabapocalypse6 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. If you use a lot of heat, such as blow drying your hair or styling it with a flat iron or curling iron, you will get a lot of breakage in the middle of your hair. Also if you use a lot of product along with that, or you just have brittle hair in general, anywhere you style it can cause breakage all over.
