I absolutely adore your style and this video was a good reminder to clean out my closet! I find myself wearing the same pieces over and over again because I don't want to rifle through the items I don't enjoy or don't make me feel wonderful. I also don't subscribe to the rule that if you haven't worn it in 6 months, throw it out - it's refreshing to see others do the same! Plus it feels awesome when you are rocking something from YEARS ago and someone says "wow! I love that!" And you can actually say "oh, this old thing?"

You turned me on to Rails shirts, especially when they were on sale right before Christmas. I bought 2 for myself in size small and 1 for my daughter who wears a size xs. We both love them and thank-you for showing how nice they are.

My closet had doors like that once... when I moved in I hated them so much. I actually had them removed and hung curtains. at first it looked weird but when they are closet it looks like a window. gave me so much more space and way easier. I also how use the curtain rod to hang stuff as I steam it

Hi Elle, Thanks for the incentive to get started and do this myself!!!!! I have a fashion question if you can spare a moment .... I have a Lacoste sweater dress - which I LOVE ❤️ but never know exactly what to wear with it ... the top is navy blue and the bottom is cranberry/merlot-ish its cable knit so has a casual look to it ... anyway - my dilemma is legs ... I don't know what colour tights and or boots to go with. Black? Brown? Do I search for a close match to the dress? 😝 HELP! (I'm in Toronto so bare legs is not an option) I found you just before you started vlogmas and am hooked and yes I went through a slight withdrawal after that! You are a fresh voice (to me) on KZbin as I find it harder and harder to find enjoyable relatable content. Thanks again, Sari

+Sari N I would do Black for every day, and if you wanted to do a fun pair of shoes with it, get some navy cable knit tights that match the top closely so you get a more uniform look that will make the shoes pop. Xx

This comment compelled me to submit this suggestion I have been thinking about for videos. I really enjoy watching you build outfits and thought you could do a series called: “How/with what would you pair it” Viewers would submit an item they love but may be struggling with how to outfit it;...that’s when you come in! You would provide ideas on how to potentially wear it. I thought that would be helpful to many of us, or maybe just me :-) !Thanks for inspiring me to do a closet cleaning. I am moving for a year so perfect timing to purge clothes I have not worn since college (think early 2000s, flared cuffed pants… yikes!)

i don't believe in 6 months rule either. i have cashmere sveaters in my closet I bough while I was pregnant. but even with workout my tummy is still there so they don't look goid on me now. But I am still keeping those. pastel tones and beautiful but dont fit me😢 Yet😊
