I bought one and I really like using it. Admittedly, I’m not super stoked about having to clean it every time as soon as I use it because sometimes I’m in a hurry. I’m in the same boat as you were, pretty much identical feedback. Works great, it’s not like you can’t live without it, but I think it’s a nice tool to have. okay this is the FIRST review that didn't bs for fear of Tati retaliation. Everyone has said it works, which is fine, but no one has wanted to say it is a total inconvenience to wash and dry after every use. I am for sure a new fan of ELA.

And I’m very grateful. Thank you for all you do, Ms Elle. Just FYI, I noticed that the kitchen shot of your makeup was gorgeously flawless . Re Ms tatis ’ Blendiful, I agree, I love using it. It’s a welcome guest at my vanity. I am now using mostly with my powder products and on occasion my concealer since it’s a beautiful finish. I also originally had washing issues, now I simply use the beauty blender soap or similar, any face wash or gentle shampoo and it’s a fast, easy wash for me. It dries within 8 hrs. I am in love with the Blendiful. I am also a MUA. and whenever I’m in a rush i find that I’m delighted it exists. Also should mention that I have tried both liquid and powder foundation and they are both gorgeous finishes. I did have an issue with Amat’s cream in a compact but I sheered it out with a new spot; too much product was on my Blendiful at once (my fault). Also You’re right that liquid will force us to have to wash asap (I’m washing my bbs all the time) . I think Tati invented it as a another tool and not to replace everything but could if you needed it. i was thinking I would buy another couple to have around, they’re $18 for both puffs. I’m loving the Blendiful. 💗 I usually use brushes, not a huge fan of sponges except for the mini Fenty one for concealer. My favourite application is using cream products. I apply a stick foundation directly to the blendiful and press it into my skin, the same with my Nudestix bronzer and blush or those creamy powder formulations like the Nars Exposed palette. It works really well to apply the Tatcha silk canvas primer. Really good for cream or powder highlighter. I use one side for creams and switch the ribbon over and use the other side for powder. 🥰

Oh I can’t wait to see how you like it. I tried mine yesterday and it was a flop. But I also tried it with a new foundation and not a makeup artist. I am going to give it another go at some point. I used the L’Oréal Infallible Fresh Wear 24 hour foundation and noticed that my dry patches and fine lines were super exaggerated and that the foundation didn’t set into my skin and had a polka dot effect. Now I don’t know if it was the Blendiful, the foundation or both. Also I had a very hard time getting it to wash clean. I tried brush cleaner and liquid hand soap. I also went in with a gentle bar of soap as she suggested and it still took quite a bit of scrubbing to have it get clean

Kimberly Dunham I don’t like Tati but I love to try new applicators so I got the blendiful. I’m surprised how much I loved it. It replaced my beauty blender. I used less foundation and my favorite part was that it left my skin smoother than anything else. So definitely try it with a different foundation. Try washing it with the Dr Bronners tea tree bar soap. Washes clean with no stains and doesn’t leave any residue.

Kimberly Dunham it might be the foundation that one is more of a matte finish. I clean my Blendiful in the sink with a bar laundry soap from a natural cleaning brand and it comes clean easily. In fact i just washed mine after sitting a few days dirty and it cleaned up great!

I really love it for my concealer! If I'm going to use it for my Foundation then I make sure and have a hydrating primer on but if you are exfoliating and moisturizing consistently then it shouldn't be too bad. You have to remember that nobody is looking at you as close as you are in a mirror so I think overall it looks great. I do get why you say it looks a little dry though because that was my initial thought

I have no desire for this. I don’t want to use a puff with my liquids & after I happened to see someone else compare a regular puff with this one they pretty much worked the same. I would have liked to see if you had a similar result with the puff you purchased vs the blender!! Maybe you can try it and let us know?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ As always Great video Elle!!

I used several soaps to clean mine and found that cheap ol Neutrogena bar soap works great! I actually like the Blendiful. It smooths makeup in my wrinkles really well and keeps my makeup smooth there all day. I also think this will be great to travel with as I can leave many brushes at home now.

If you put the foundation on your face and then use the blendiful it does not soak up the product! I have tried many foundations with this. I am dry. Bone dry. And no matter matte, glow etc.. blendiful is seamless

I have used mine for about a month. I really like it. I also use a brush for my powder but use the Blendiful for everything else. I did wash it in the washing machine in a mesh bag but it did separate at the seam. Customer service did replace it. I am only going to hand wash.

Hi Elle! I like it a LLot! I bought 7 of them. I gifted a few to friends, that's how much I like it. I clean it after every use and once a week in a device's bag on a delicate cycle. I use it with product for my dry skin (clean make-up with some skin loving goodies in it!) And it goes really well. I used the versed balm to get the make-up out too! And Mrs.Meyers soap. I am super gentle and don'( change the shape. I lay her flat and Pat between a hand towel to get out excess water. It's nice to have more tools in the Arsenal! I hope all is well.

So know what you mean by the Charlotte Tilbury concealer. That lid is so hard to get off! I love my blendiful. I am a little dry but use a hydrating foundation and spray. I used bar soap to clean mine and it worked beautifully. Then pressed it between a towel to get the moisture out and the sponge inside didn’t move at all plus it dried super quickly

So it works but we need maybe a light hand and to get used to how to use this ...it works well to set the face or lay down light powders maybe I wouldnt do the cheeks and bronzer with it so I can get that done intentionally with brushes. I felt like I used less product but I don’t swipe/buff until after I pat my foundation on. Before the blendiful, I used my hands for foundation. I could never really get behind the beauty blender because I do feel like I have to clean it every time I use it and it isn’t a quick clean. I'm loving the Blendiful for foundation and tinted moisturizer. It doesn't soak up product for me at all, so I use half the amount which is a financial bonus. I quickly hand wash after use. Looks the same as day I got it. I do the pat and roll.

I like how quickly it works to put on makeup. I used a mist on my face before applying foundation. It worked out well. Bar soaps make cleaning a breeze. To your point that using a sponge that's damp, I've been experimenting with spraying my brush with setting spray to dampen and help the product spread better . Do you think if you misted the blendiful first that it would soak up less product?

They will replace it. Same thing happened to me and I sent a pic and 2 days later it was in my mail box. I sewed the hole back up and reinforced the other side and whala good as new. Now I have an extra one to use after my first one needs replacing.

I wash mine gently with Dawn Foam after I use it. Literally for about 30 seconds squeeze it in a towel and it’s ready to use again in about an hour. It’s held up great. I love it for powder or if I’m in a hurry it definitely saves time and looks good with foundation. That CT wand! Ugghh but I keep going back to it.. great video XO

I didn't pick this up because I was worried about how it would look with my dry skin. I love my wet sponge and love a glowy radiant look. Alot of people said it soaked up more product then the sponge does and the other said it hardly soaks up any. I wonder how it would work if I sprayed it a couple times with setting spray just to moisten it.

I am basically a bit lazy and don't want to clean the Blendiful every time. So I use it primarily to press in my powder products which realy does improve longevity of everything. Regarding washing, I use Dr. Bronners castile liquid. Powders clean off pretty easily. Clean up of liquid foundation varies dramatically depending on brand and formulation. I.e. Bare Minerals Pro, is a bear to remove from the Blendiful but that is exactly why I like it on my face. I agree with you. Some will love it and some will not. Some will love it for some things but not so much for others.

I have one and I absolutely love how it performs and how my makeup looks when using this. Application is a little faster too since it has so much surface to help spread it around. One thing that I found helpful as to not soak up so much foundation is to just dab it with my fingers in dots all over my face first then go in with the Blendiful to swipe and bounce it on. Also I clean mine with a drugstore sulfate free shampoo right after use and that works well for me.

I am pleased with my Blendiful, although I don’t plan to discard my brushes or sponges. I was on vacation in a hot humid climate and I needed to buy some powder foundation. I had not brought the right brushes with me and I wasn’t going to buy any, given what was sitting at home, so I decided to order the Blendiful. I have been using the tiny one to apply undereye primer, color corrector and concealer, and they all seem smoother than when I use a sponge or my fingers. I have been using the large one for the powder foundation, powder bronzer and powder blush and they look seamless and blended without any effort. I do like to go over everything with a fluffy brush at the end, though. I find it no harder to clean than a sponge. I use Dr. Bronner bar soap. I squeeze the lather through until it rinses clean, blot with a towel, and it is dry in a few hours. I have washed it six or seven times by now and there are no tears or anything. When I am home, I will try it with cream and liquid foundation. I did try it with face primer and liked the smooth application. I have large pores and the Blendiful really helps press the primer in. Maybe other puffs would work as well with the powder products I have ben using but the ones I have seen are relatively small and I would likely need a separate one for each product. I really appreciate the practicality of a puff large enough for multiple products. Thank you for your tutorial.

I put the Tati blender in a mesh bag, throw it in the wash then take it out, use dawn on it to remove all the excess foundation, then put it back in the mesh bag and throw it in the dryer, it works great and doesn't hurt it at all.

If you don't apply primer with a sponge or brush, I'd continue to just apply it with the fingers and not waste the blendiful on it. I haven't tried the blendiful yet, but I wonder if dotting your foundation all over your face then blending it in might also help, rather than applying it to the blendiful. Just a thought. I have to try it myself. Thanks for this review though, it helps in that if I get it, I'll probably apply my makeup and concealer as usual and possibly use the blendiful for smoothing out certain areas afterward.

I always feel like a wet sponge shears out my products too much, and water from the sponge with just evaporate eventually. I don’t expect it to actually hydrate or sink into my skin. I think I’d rather have the dry, soft puff that lays down the product well enough to help mask any lack of moisture that I might be contending with for whatever reason.

I do really like the Blendiful. However, I know me and I know that I am not going to wash it after every use. So i have really only been using it for setting powder, and occasionally for bronzer. When you fold it, it makes for a nice clean line with the bronzer. I am not sure it is worth buying for basically only using it as a powder puff, but i have it now, and I use it every day for that.

Seems nowadays people are over the top with highlighter, even mature women. It’s doesn’t look natural on the majority of those wearing the highlight. I don’t wear it because it looks like theatrical makeup on most people. I admire the way you wear your makeup, always classy, always natural looking. You are a a true artist.

I clean it with the Neutrogena bar and it comes clean pretty easy

I love mine and dont clean it every time. When I do, I use a bar of soap...gets everything out in a heartbeat👍😉

I did see a review of someone taking this product apart and i was suprised that the sponge didn't have any product at all on it ...however I do think it may be absorbing product the outer layer ...similar to how the makeup sponges with the velvet texture does...its gonna be a trial and error no matter what! I find my synthetic flower beauty foundation buffing brush does amazing with my prestige foundations and also doesn't hold too much product! It is amazing on cleaning with no fall out from the bristles and also dries great for the density it is. I'm raving about this brush!!!! I still use my real techniques sponge for applying concealer and or a bit of foundation more coverage to my cheeks if needed.

@@mandymerr1 thank you for the info! I use Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and will see how the Flower brush works for me. My beauty blender is ok, but would like a more flawless finish.

Bubbles 61 I think everyone is different. I used much less foundation than the beauty blender. And it replaced my beauty blender which I couldn’t believe. I thought I would only like it for powder. But it left my skin smoother than beauty blender.

Thanks for the review. I do not like it for my foundation. It soaks up too much foundation and It is way too drying for me. I much prefer the beauty blender and the moisture from the beauty blender.

I have one, and have found after its washed it loses the softness, and doest apply my makeup the same as when it was new. I do use it for my concealer some. I would not purchase this again.
