The best thing she can do is keep that reality in mind and know how to read different types of people and deal with them accordingly. She obviously evades unnecessary heat. Also, guests are not children. They can decide whether or not they wanna deal with Ellen beforehand. And that alleged backstage deal has nothing to do with anything on the screen. People become mad after hearing that, and start to think Ellen is just this evil witch who's been terrorizing her guests in hatred the whole time. That's far too silly. It’s comedy people, when male hosts do it there’s no outrage. This is lightweight interviews and supposed to be fun, they don’t like it then don’t go on Ellen to promote what ever your promoting and really the celebs know whats going to happen. Their very capable of giving it back in fact Ellen wants them too, so I won’t be saying poor celebs. My son had long hair when he was young, I defended questioning about it and I didn’t care, Celine was a sheltered lady who was married to a much older man who helped turn her into a star and looked after her from very young. She had a lot of changes made when she was young, if you look at pics from before she was really famous. She certainly doesn’t make for a good guest on Ellen too aware of her name and importance, I’m sure she’s a lovely lady with a sense of humour if she doesn’t have to speak anything and the comedy is going on around her, but obviously has no sense of humour about herself.
