However, for me and many others, this is a representation of how kids act. By the way, you may have been a kid and know kids, but you don't know ALL kids to have an accurate representation of them and to be honest, people can say the exact opposite-that they know kids and have been a kid and that they can assure you that kids ACT this way and still can be fully grown sucessful adults.
