And what happens to all those tiger cubs once they’ve outgrown their cuteness and can’t be “petted” anymore? Ever thought about that? Do they simply set them all free in the forest?? Cub petting should never be encouraged, and any tourist who cares about animal welfare and is educated on the matter would NEVER engage in it or support facilities that allow it. Please educate yourself.

@mimikyuki242cheetahs aren't even close to other big cats. They even lose to hyenas and get killed by many predators. I love how he's so afraid of the boa constrictor. Of all the animals Dave has brought on the show, that was probably the least likely to cause any injury. They are curious, not large enough to hurt an adult human (well I guess if you were incredibly stupid and wrapped one around you neck a couple times), and almost never bite as long as they know they aren't getting fed. Binturongs are cute. I'd love a chance to interact with one. Looked really soft.
@stephpies70672 жыл бұрын

Cheetas aren't even that aggressive, I used to work around them a long time ago, out of all the cats they are the least likely to attack a human, the problem is that they actually tend to be scared of humans. So you have to be calm around them in an enclosed area like where they took her. In the wild for example while some do approach vehicles & sometimes even humans, that's more rare and they tend to run away if they see humans. I mean there's a reason they brought a cheetah there & not a lion.

KrazyKiwi You're very unlikely to be jumped by a cheetah compared to other big cats, since they don't typically perceive humans as being prey and also don't have the evolutionary ambushing reflex that leopards and such have (even the friendliest leopard will stalk and pounce someone who turns their back to them). Cheetahs, while they can still be dangerous, are safe to pet and even sleep beside (search up Dolph C. Volker on KZbin) provided you've built a good bond with them. Obviously this doesn't apply to every cheetah, but compared to most other large carnivorous felines they can be very docile.

I hate people that dont educate themselves and assume that these animals are mistreated and drugged or being thought of as pets. These animals arent captured from the wild and brought in to be ambassadors! They are often bought off of or rescued from rich people who think its cute to have them as pets. They cant be released into the wild because they never learned how to hunt. They arent mistreated they are being cared for and they help spread awareness of their species and the protection they need in the wild against humans

If you wanna have this conversation we'll have it, but before you say anything think on this. If you were offered food, shelter, safety and company completely for free, with the alternative spending every day fearing for your life which would you chose?
