Ellen Ripley is by far my fav empowered female heroes in movie history, she is the example of a strong, empowered, beautiful, and brave woman who had everything stripped away from her, but continued to stay strong and protect humanity from extinction. She was a slave to her Xenomorph encounters & her sacrifice set her free. She made a vow to herself that the Xenomorph species would be destroyed, even it meant she had to die & take it with her. She is the perfect example of female empowerment & I luv her fer that❤❤❤❤❤

She is possibly my single most favourite character in all cinematic history, and for many of the same reasons you listed above. may her legacy inspire generation and generations of people to become the heros that those around us need and deserve.
