The Lord Jehovah be praised. Thank you Lineage Journey and Dr Allan Lindsay. It was through reading the book Desire of Ages by Ellen. G. White that I truly started to understand the Bible more clearly. I love ALL the books God has blessed her to write, that I have read. My favorited are STEPS to CHRIST, THE DESIRE OF AGES and THE GREAT CONTROVERSY. Always watching and sharing from Palm Bay Florida.

I'm glad Mrs White came to Australia. If she hadnt my family wouldve still been Catholics. My Great Grandparents were influenced by her and the faith and truth were spread down my mothers side of the family.

I absolutely love that Keepers of the Flame series Dr. Allan Lindsay did back in the day. I recently rewatched 2 episodes and wondered if he was still around. It's so good to see him alive and well. Praise God!! 😇🙏🏾🙌🏾🎊

Thank you Lineage Journey for keeping alive the history of our Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is so needed as the Ecumenical influence has deemphasized the historical aspect of Christianity. Hardly any teaching of the History of Christianity and of Seventh-day Adventist history is being taught in correct aspects. Rewritten history may be taught but true history is not. So keep on, keeping on!

Amen, excellent discussion on the life of Ellen White, always great to listen from credible individuals in the church who know her writings well enough, I've read so many negative comments online about her but I refuse to be swayed by a minority of nay sayers because like the Bible I believe what it says and what she says I trust is for the benefits of mankind to be a better version of themselves or better yet as Christians👌🙏🏻 thank you for this podcast, it has clarified or confirmed Ellen White 's position in the church,thank you Dr Lindsay, & the Lineage journey team, you're doing a great job for God's glory, God bless your ministry 🙏🏻 👌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

11:45 Actually, Ellen White had mentioned several years earlier that she would gladly go to Australia if asked. However, her first 11 months in Australia were very painful for her, as she had terrible rheumatism. So during those 11 months, she railed out, saying she didn't want to come, etc. After she got well, she realized her mistake, and said many years later that the Lord had led her to Australia. Regarding her books, she didn't write much for her books at all while in Australia. Those books were compiled by her helpers from combing through her writings over her lifetime. She wrote very few books as books. Nearly all of them were compiled from her writings for periodicals, letters, manuscripts, etc. 49:00 That is mostly true about Ellen White not coming up with new doctrines, but not entirely true, as she mentions sometimes that she was shown things she had never thought of before, and which surprised everyone. I think that was especially true regarding the Sanctuary and health message, as it is very difficult from the Bible alone to understand that tea and coffee are forbidden substances, that there will be a future Sunday law, etc. This was a nice video. I would have like a few more photos of Avondale College and other places Ellen White went to in Australia, but having the interview in Sunnyside was very good.

Seventh Day Adventist Pastors like to push EGW In the section to be a Prophet! She never ever proclaimed the future! EGWhite always did say:"" "I'm the Lord's Messenger a small light to the big one" ( Messenger of the Lord, Chapter 16-EGWhites Self- awareness as a Messenger) And her books where shown her from the Spirit of God. She could not know the past,and only with two years of School of -aducation! (Prophets predicted the future!) But from 1844 no more prophecy!!!

By any standard, a person needs to have information/facts to be able to discern the difference between the truth and a lie. Thus, "we don't need too know much" about anyone or anything is based on personal opinion. So how, then. can you or anyone tell the difference between the truth and a lie? Who are you to make that type of opinion without showing mulitple scholarly sources to back up your opinion? Without explicate evidence and/or hard facts to back up your belief - your word for it - is as stated above, your opinion, and as an opinion - you are not qualified to be believed on any level about Ellen G. White spoke and wrote according to The Word, was inspired by The Lord, was given vision by The Lord, and lived the life according to The Word. To say that Ellen G. White passes the test of what a true prophet is according to The Bible. - Truth is no popular even when it is sought after.
