Watercolor Lilac Painting for Beginners

Sometimes when I see a tutorial or several tutorials but too busy to watch at the time, I quickly save it into a designated folder to look at later and this tutorial was saved in a folder that I have created for your tutorials. So that is what I did and today I saw this tutorial. I've saved other tutorials on lilacs in other folder designated folders. This tutorial is THE best tutorials I have ever seen. I have a lilac bush and clip the lilacs and put them in a jar and they are picture perfect just like your tutorial! Lilac bushes should be proud! This is so lovely! Simply lovely and I can't wait to get started. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial.

Love your style...the way you demonstrate and teach....LOVE it....I can actually do some things that resemble what you do. I painted the little snowman for Christmas cards...that snowman made of 'shapes'.....he was cute, really. I watch your videos over and over,,,and feel I get looser and relax and forgive my boo-boos or cover them up. Thanks Ellen

Ellen, I’ve been practicing with your tutorials since I received watercolor supplies for my birthday last year. I really enjoy your style. But then recently, I took my daughter to her pediatrician appointment and was looking at the animal ABCs on the wall that I’ve seen a million times but now just noticed - It was signed by you!! Thank you so much. This art therapy just works wonders for me. I had been waiting to try out these lilacs and tonight my significant 'other' really got under my skin. I closed the door and got painting. Ahhhhhh. It was just great disappearing into my little art world. I am happy with my creation. Will do another one just because it was such fun.
