Thank you for explaining the hot press paper. I never knew the picking up the pigment works so well on hot press. I always got hard drying lines so I stopped using it. I will try it again now.

Hi Ellen, how often do you suggest someone changes their brushes..as in when would you say a brush is past it for watercolour but could still be used say for acrylic? I have changed my KZbin name so you won’t know that I have been following you for maybe a year or so and I noticed the point had gone on your no 8…you mentioned you have a new one..was it the lack of point that made you invest in a new one? Sorry for the essay but with so much practicing I was wondering. Your gnomes are so gorgeous,I am going to have a go at these…I think I will have a go at these….
