Im so glad you love to share with us your God-given joy of crochet! I think a swirled or slightly ruffled edging that mimics the centers of the hexagons would look good. I'll try to find a photo of what I mean.

My centre circles never turn out uniformed. I cant seem to do the circles.

Thank you. I am working my first hexagon afghan and wasn't sure how best to join. Is there a way to weave in the tail of the join yarn as you go? Perhaps crochet it into the first couple of loops? Or would this be too bulky?

Yes you can! I would not work over more than two ends at a time and just be careful that they don’t show on the front.
