Ellen, I am absolutely crazy about Lemon anything!!!!!! From liquid through muffins, through ice cream. I think Lemon had to be the best fruit ever! Will have to try it BB's version. The soaps turned out wonderful and the Owls are adorable! Blessings!

Good evening, those look great. They are making me want a creamy snack. Your owls are adorable. I’ve been hesitant about getting molds really thick. They are always pink. But, you seem to have gotten your owls out just fine. Be safe and have an awesome day
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they made me hungry while I was making them 🤣 the little owls unmold really easy, if they feel at all sticky, I just wait a few days and try again...

Oh my goodness Ms. Ellen you're in my head again LOL. I just ordered Lemon Bar with my order last week hahaha! Anne Marie's video on the Lemon Bar came across my feed and I remembered I wanted to try it ... she made it sound like the scent was delicious, so I have to try it!! Anyway, beautiful soap as usual!! 💕

Just beautiful. I'm new to soap making and I love to make goat's milk soap but how do you get your silk to dissolve? I use frozen milk in my lye solution
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! You can melt your silk in a bit of distilled water, then add that to the lye mixture. I use frozen milk too, and it still gets hot enough to melt it usually...

Hi Ellen, Would you ever.consider doing a video on your.packaging and labeling process? Thanks. I'm struggling to choose which way to go in the face of covid and could use examples to emulate. Thanks.
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking about it, but so there are already a couple of great soapers doing the packing videos, like Ophelia's Soapery, and Missouri River Soaps have great packing vids.

I love your Soap and can imagine the Lemony scent....I just love it but the EO that I use doesn't stick in my soaps though I add kaolin clay.... Today I made coconut milk soap with triple clays in it... Layered... Can't wait to cut...

Thanks! Your triple clay soap sounds lovely!

How did you melt your silk in goats milk I freeze mine and did not have good luck
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
My frozen goat milk usually gets hot enough to melt it.. A few times I've had to melt it in a bit of distilled water, and add that to the goat milk...
