The only way I can think o' to describe it is from the Yiddish quote "Man Plans, and God Laughs.” Despite our most careful planning, the Road of Life is unpredictable. We might have driving and destination strategies but scenic new vistas might beckon us or unforeseen roadblocks can deter us. Our best-laid plans in life can be upended by unexpected changes. For me both on a feelin'/emotional, or in my case emotionless, but personal level it feels like a "Sleepwalking Life" (Scanners) and life will "Bend me, break me anyway you need me breaking down is easy all I want is you" (Garbage), BUT, if you're strong enough "I've got nothing to prove, ain't got nothing to lose if you need someone to use, I can take the abuse" (INXS), might sound philosophical, might sound cynical toward life, but that's my perspective of a close enough answer to yer question.

Trust me, unless you've read the book you'll never feel that shattering pain that comes along while listening to this song. This.. 💖 I had a bone marrow transplant I was with a guy for 5 years he come to see me in hospital every weekend until towards the end he stopped... he'd found someone else. This is true word for word it's like it was wrote for me. He cared he just couldn't cope. I miss him everyday. For the first 6 months everytime the door went I shuffled out to the landing to see if it was him. It never was. That was 4 years ago. He still hasn't messaged to see if the treatment worked. It hasn't. Needs to be done again. ✌️
