For me both on a feelin'/emotional, or in my case emotionless, but personal level it feels like a "Sleepwalking Life" (Scanners) and life will "Bend me, break me anyway you need me breaking down is easy all I want is you" (Garbage), BUT, if you're strong enough "I've got nothing to prove, ain't got nothing to lose if you need someone to use, I can take the abuse" (INXS), might sound philosophical, might sound cynical toward life, but that's my perspective of a close enough answer to yer question.

Have you watched any of the voting in the past, what, 15-20 years? It's become highly politicised now. Neighbours voting for one another and blocks of countries doing likewise. It's a farce now. Even if the UK has the best song in the contest, which hasn't happened very often since our last winner (Katrina and the Waves?), we won't win it. Chuck in the perception that the UK is seen as ''anti Europe'' (true or not doesn't matter), which will put voters off us, and I can't see us winning it in the foreseeable future. Mind you, you did say earlier that we had never won the Eurovision. Odd comment.
