Thanks so much! I was using a little Sony pocket-sized camera called the DSC-HX99. The thing that sets it apart from cell phones is the zoom lens. I was shooting from all the way in the back of the theater with a 30x magnification. 🔭

The camera has its quirks (it overheats after a modest amount of 4K video shooting, and the zoom ring is right next to one of the microphones so you have to be VERY gentle or else the recording will capture the clicking sound on quiet videos) but it's the only camera I have found that fits in your pocket, has a 30x optical zoom, and shoots in 4K.
