Everyone is weighing in on the “argument” but why is nobody talking about the level of respect that they have like arguing? Like even though they don’t agree on the subject, there’s no yelling, no name calling, no cutting each other off or talking over one another. We love to seeing healthy disagreements.

I do have to say I agree with Heather about Ellie being old enough to do her own laundry I can understand the help with getting her up in the morning as I myself would never wake up for school lol! Which Isn't something you should want to make a habit so I think Ellie should be responsible for setting her own alarm and Mark maybe go in once to wake her up after that its on her to get up but just my opinion love you guys family
@kimdulin2050 Жыл бұрын
Oh this was quite enjoyable…. You guys are so much fun! You keep it real on top of making it funny. As a mother of 4 kids, sry Mark I have to agree with Heather on teaching the kids responsibility and make them do more on their own. 😊❤

Ellie’s mannerisms totally take after Mark so much 😂❤ but I can see both sides of the laundry debate. Responsibility & life skills are SO important to learn, but moving a load over every once in a while is totally fine in my opinion. My husband and I have similar debates about our girls 😂

Completely agree with you heather with the laundry and waking up on her own. If she’s old enough to go out with friends she’s old enough to wake herself up and do her laundry. I’ve been doing my own laundry since I was 10 and it definitely taught me responsibility. If I didn’t do my laundry I knew I didn’t have any clean clothes to wear and that was my own fault.
@liddyyoxsimer2083 Жыл бұрын
I also think since Ellie does have an “attitude” issue you should see how she reacts when you guys stop doing stuff for her. Lolll I think it might open her eyes to see how lucky she has it with amazing parents like you guys doing so much for her. And maybe she’ll become more grateful for the parent she has? Idk haha

It teaches them responsibility and she also has an alarm to wake up for school… now I still get up with them and what not but I am trying to teach her like my mom tough me. I think she should start to take responsibility more. My cousins mom did the same thing and they just ran around with friends and such while she would just do do for them now they don’t know what to do with out there parents! Obviously still let her be a kid and enjoy life but simple things like that she should be doing at this point in life. I started at 13 and have been doing it since

Omg you guys are sooo funny 😂😂. I love how mark goes into how you do everything for Emma lol. But it really matters how the child treats the parents. Like maybe you did do a lot of stuff for Emma but like you said heather, Emma was sweet and polite and appreciated the little things you did for her. Now Ellie on the other hand is all getting a lot of stuff done for her but she’s not being appreciative and grateful for those things.

My dad was a single parent and I had 3 brothers he did the laundry and woke us up every day for school. But we had to load the dishwasher or vacuum the floors feeding the cat. And keep or rooms clean. And sometimes we had to switch laundry from washer to dryer. We also had to come grocery shopping with him to see what everything costs and compare brands what’s more affordable or what has better ingredients in it etc. I think he did a rly good job.

Emma didn’t do her laundry at that age either if I remember correctly and she’s not very mature for her age, she is definitely growing more but I feel like Heather is pushing it so much maybe because she has a fear of Ellie depending on them to do everything and being scared of adult hood like Emma is?
