I rotate the blade(flip the blade over). This use’s the entire blade up. They are pricey. That’s for another great tutorial

Hello! Great videos and very helpful, as always. I've searched the entire pattern, and I can't find any info regarding sizes for trunk length. I see you pointed out that the M is 60"--where is that info, please? Also, side body length is mentioned as 8", but I can't find it in print... Help! Thank you

I don't understant what mesure I need to substract. My above bust is SM, my bust is med, my waist is XL and my seat is XS. Also my trunk lenght is XXS. I am totally lost. I don't know how to adjust my pattern. For the lenght, do I need to take the mesure from my bust or my waist (which is the biggest mesure) to substract? Help

so since this pattern is drafted for 5'5". if i'm shorter at 5' then i need to take that into account before adding to the trunk right (or i may be subtracting from the trunk instead because I'm so short)? so confusing, i wish i was 5'5" already to make it less confusing

or actually since trunk length is sort of measuring not exactly height but kind of indirectly, does that mean I don't shorten the pattern as one traditionally would and just do the calculations you did above?

Good question. When sewing something that is based on trunk length, you want to adjust for trunk only. If you’re making something that is based on height, adjust for height. I hope that helps. 🩷 Swimsuits, rompers, bodysuits are all things you’d want to use trunk length for, unless otherwise instructed.

I don't think I understand - you said you needed 3 inches extra, but you only added 1.5 inches total? how does that work??

I think she said it's because the fabric for swimsuits is stretchy, so you don't need to add the full difference

You are measuring front and back together, in a circle. Half of that circle is the front, half the circle is in the back. 1.5 inches for each front and back equals 3 inches overall. Hope that makes sense!
