The dragon's wings are so amazing. Princess Aurora's blonde hair looks so good on her. Aurora, who became a warrior, is also cool. 😊❤❤ It's a very nice word like Elly's fairy tale. The walls of the castle are thorough.

I caught this a Minute after you posted and I could not be happier to see this set because maleficent is my favorite disney character! I bought the brickhead set with cruella just for her and gave cruella to my daughter, lol. I told hubby if he bought this I'd split it with kiddo: I'd get the dragon, kiddo gets the rest. 😅 Though it would be cool if there had been a maleficent mini doll included too, so she could "transform" into the dragon, lol.

I think this set is so good for that, it's multigenerational! A little something for everyone. But yeah, a maleficent minidoll would have been a great extra.

Yas, I love this version of Aurora's story! Let a girl eat cupcakes and live in a wild rambling garden and get some proper healing sleep. I'm half expecting the next part to be Phillip assuming she needs rescuing, because as a lone woman she MUST, convincing the dragon to work with him to free her, and Aurora's just all, Really?? Can I not have 20 minutes? Really truly awesome and I wish they'd done this when we were little but I'm also so so glad kids are able to experience it now! Mulan will welcome this one into her army any day. (Also HELLO, it's a LANCE in Alan Tudyk's fake English accent flew through my head at - you know which bit - so now I gotta go relive some nostalgia with Knights Tale)

The main draw of this set is dragon Maleficent, but I am impressed with all the extra details in the small castle build, the extra armor the moving spinning wheel feature and especially the three fairies! This has moved higher on my wish list.

The set has parts which I like and parts which I don't like. The parts which I like are the dragon and the fact that mini dolls are included. The parts which I don't like are the castle and the size of the dragon. For me it's very clear to see that the set was supposed to be a 18+ set. The reason why this set is a play set now is because an other set was supposed to be also realsed on the 1st of June. And in the last seconds they made the decision that this set will be replase the other set. So they made a little version of the castle, the dragon smaller and replased the minifigures with mini dolls. In my opinion they should have left the dragon at its original size and gave as a Maleficent as a mini doll.

We need more dragons in minidoll sets, Ninjago has a monopoly on dragons. Elves is the only (non-licensed) minidoll theme with dragons and I don't think dragons would fit in Friends

I don't really like the aesthetics of the castle, it feels very hodgepodge and incomplete. No sticker for Aurora's bed? Come on, Lego!
