Making J last felt very fitting, because whether or not she knows tessa was cyn, shes either acting in fear of cyn, or blind loyalty to tessa, hoping if she puts her faith in the system she loves so much everything will turn out right, or just desperately trying to stay alive under cyns control. At the very end of it all, shes seems unwilling to see an alternative if it means putting herself at risk, or possibly denying that tessa, her only friend, was ever killed on that fateful day, that all shes done is help the individual that took everything away from her.
