phones on th dancefloor r sticky, cus like how u boys were saying abt having jokes memories of you and your mates, people wanna get videos of your night as well as the night that everyone can see and access. completely agree it ruins how the scene looks etc, is a tough one to call tbh, pros and cons for both sides

Agree with phone thing but sportswear itself is where raving started, people used to hate going to clubs not feeling themselves wearing shoes and trousers so they looked for somewhere that they could fit in and feel free, of course there are people that wear tracksuits and are dickheads, but there are also people that wear skin tight Jeans and think that they are some how better than other people because they are “more dressed up” raving should be about like minded people coming together to enjoy music not to pay attention to what people are wearing

Sportswear is not where raving started although I understand the point your trying to make and I agree to one extent.

An idea to get rid of phones cameras is for event to offer the videos they take and allow the ravers to save the videos from an online platform

The whole idea of people using their phones is to have a video / photo as a memory. I remember seeing Oden & Fatzo playing live last year and getting a video of ‘Lauren’. It’s not as personal if you get the video from someone else’s view etc.

@@itsdj3than agreed its a bit of a catch 22. I personally try limit videos to 2/3 a night, however having it from your perspective always feels better than seeing the same moment captured from a different pov

Phones on the dance floor is just inevitable these days. You will have a percentage of people going for the clip. Would rather it didn't happen , but unfortunately that is your bigger UK parties atm
