Never too late. Like you, I stayed with my parents till I was older (24). Been moved out to my new place, in a new city for a couple months now! Just remember, life doesn't stop for anyone :)

I think it’s increasingly common to live with your parents longer into your 20s, specifically due to the current state of the economy, student debt and rent prices. I don’t currently live with my parents due to a lot of issues, but I’d 100% live with them now if I had a better relationship. It’s ultimately a smarter decision. And just in general, there is no actual “benchmark” to have x, y or z thing done by. No one has actually achieved every single one of these by the “time” they were supposed to, which if anything speaks to the arbitrary nature of said benchmarks. Just live your life man

I can totally relate to what you are going through , me and my whole family going through a same phase , I lost my baby brother who was just 39 and was a special kid , who was super fit , full of love and life . I’m sorry to hear about Coco Eliot, I started this year with my childhood dog passing away as well. Was with me since I was 8 and saw me grow up. Was always there for us through everything and I know how hard losing a childhood pet can be. For me it’s about cherishing the moments we had with our pets and most importantly being thankful for the best friend we had. 🎂 This is your best video yet Elliot, where the video showcases your highest level of capturing, editing and most importantly storytelling…you’ve come a long way since your initial videos when you were in Vanderbilt. I’m incredibly sorry that you’d lost Coco, Milo and some of your other family members this year…I’m 23 right now and I’ve recently gone through losing some family members these past few months, and it took actually a few weeks for me to have any sort of a reaction, but when it hit me, I was left completely for a period, I couldn’t think, get myself to do anything…I just sat there and ruminated on whether if I had done things differently, that I wouldn’t have felt the way I did. I know this sounds incredibly like a cliché, but you really don’t realize what you have until you lose it…that’s what makes life meaningful, but also painful. Earlier on your video when you were getting ready for your birthday celebration, I thought you did a great job at capturing exactly how you saw the world, something a lot of creators have lost as their channels have grown, even compared to your videos from 6 months ago. I also wanted to remark on something that I’d gotten from the video, specifically through the scenes of you hanging out with your friends…there seemingly was a void…idk how else to describe it, but I think you’re getting at what I’m saying. I’m really happy that you’re focusing on yourself even after a lot of the unfortunate events that had gone down, and I think that one of the things which still may be pressing you…the uneasy energy between you and your previous roommates, could be solved with an amicable parting of ways. I know that I would’ve still felt incredibly remorseful about how everything went down, but I really do believe that even after how everything went down, that finding a way to either finalise the end or rekindle what you all had in the beginning would lift up everyone in the process…it really seems like this is something is at least partially repairable, but something that fades further from possibility with each passing day… Great job again with this video, and I’m excited to see what comes next.

I agree, there definitely seems to be an uneasiness that rests in his heart and he doesn’t seem the type who can move past it without addressing it privately and confront the past feelings associated with the situation. It is, however, important to note that sometimes people on the other may need time to reflect and come to terms and possibly forgiveness on the situation. It was just a sad situation all around for all parties involved. Friendship is such a delicate thing
