What enzyme cleaves procaspases 8 and 10 into their prodomains aand small and large subunits?

From what I understand, the very formation of DISC results in the separation of the small and large subunits from the prodomain

Yes I see that, but a biological force is cleaving the procaspase into its prodomain, large subunit, and small subunit. Was just wondering what causes this cleavage, like perhaps a change in its charges, or if an enzyme degrades it.

Brett Carter The fact that the active initiator caspases cleave procaspases at cleavage sites further down the line seems to suggest enzymatic activity. I tried to look it up, but found little success...

Brett Carter From what I know, Cytotoxic T lymphocytes or natural killer cells attach onto the surface of the targeted cells and introduce a protease known as 'Granzyme B' this is internalised and cleaves caspases leading to their activation :)
