Thank you for this video series. You explain everything well and take nothing for granted. It helps me a lot as find this topic very confusing. Your techniques of always explaining and revising is very useful. Keep up the great work!!!

This may be too in detail, but what's your source that pp2A causes 14-3-3 and RAF to dissociate?

Hey I do highly apologize for being random but do you have any opinions on this type of gene information I recently got it on a cancer screening lab test my doctor's not really telling me information about it so I'm trying to self-research for myself any kind of help would be highly appreciated. On the 84 multicancer panel blood lab test I had done this is what they found on it I'm just having troubles understanding it since again like I mentioned my doctors are not really being honest with me on a lot of stuff and I don't know if they're doing this because they don't think it's a problem or they think I'm a worry wart but how can I not when cancer is really thick in the family and they find something and don't go into detail with me about it... But they found this.... hras exon 5 c.481C>T (p.Arg161Cys)

i believe that means there is a mutation on hras exon 5. i do not know what c.481C>T is referring to, but .Arg161Cys means that amino acid 161 was mutated from Arginine to Cysteine. I hope this helps!

disclaimer: this does not mean it is a bad mutation. there are many different types of mutations, and a lot of them are silent, meaning they do not affect you, or change anything regarding protein function. I hope your doctors where able to speak to you about it! stay strong.
