The leather 2015 Jordan 1 high OG "UNC" was Dark powder blue and these do look that same blue. The high just not a black toe. Great review as always thanks for the proper on foot shots.

Great review Eliot! Really nice shoes! I remember when I was in high school most guys wore either wore Nike's, Converse, Vans, or DC. I remember a long time ago, this guy in my grade 10 Civics class didn't like him one bit but liked his grey Nike High Tops very much. the 6s are a university blue tho? that’s a different shade of unc blue. compared to like the unc 1s being a “powder blue”, way different than the suede on the uni blue 1s. these are like the laser blue dunks, a darker unc shade so nike can make “unc” shoes without branding it just that

I missed these on SNKRS, no surprise there. I really wanted them to add some colour to the summer rotation though, and they're pretty similar to the 2019 obsidian high I've got, which I love. I paid Kick Game prices in the UK though, which are generally inflated more than most resellers. Still, I expect them to keep creeping up on there, so got them early. Funnily enough, I did snag the mystic navy on SNKRS, but they're less desirable IMO.
