For me personally all the critisisms in this video against this OG Low are complete nitpicks that dont make me love the pair more or less. Different strokes for different folks. I knew we weren’t getting bellied swoosh but I never noticed the missing lace hole until now✊🏽. And I have Unc sbs with 4 holes and multiple og lows from 14-16 with bellied swoosh and 5 holes. This might b Eric kostons fault cuz he requested the smaller swoosh when bringing them back resulting in other changes ie 4 lace holes….

I wouldn't quite say these are his fault because we did get 1 or 2 more OG Lows with the bellied swoosh (Chinese New Years pairs if I'm remembering right) after his SB Lows, but yeah this current OG Low is definitely his SB Low mold. I hate it.

I’ve been saying this! These aren’t “OG cut” these are more like the Eric Koston SB Jordan 1 low collabs both the UNC, Tear away and Midnight Navy. That’s the “OG CUT” they used and aren’t like the 2015-2016 retros. I got 2 pairs for retail today but i don’t even know if I wanna keep them. Only reason to keep them is bc I have the Highs

It's the same tooling as the Koston SB lows, same number of lace holes, etc. Seems Jordan Brand is going with that vs. going real OG. Got my pair and fortunately, I have no quality issues. They look and fit perfect. Still would like the old OG design to make a comeback

Perfect summer shoe but like you said, I wish the swoosh was the same as the 2015 releases! I don’t know why they decided to change it, probably just because it saved them money on production since they are in line with all the 1 lows today? Whatever it was, if they are going to call it an OG model it, it should look like the OG! That being said, I hit on SNKRS this morning so I can’t be too salty! Can’t wait to get them in hand, hopefully they won’t have warped soles…

Arrrh man, every time you break out them chicago lows I wanna cry, I got them for £66 in the sale, no hype back then watched your review on them before I brought them and because the materials were good and the shoes a classic I brought them, kept them for a couple of years sold them for about the same, still no hype and regretted it ever since, new I had made a mistake after and now with hype they go for £600 plus on stock x, I fucking loved them as well, I have no idea why I sold them, I wouldn't ever sell them again 💔😢, great review as always 👍 I hope my pair of neutral grey turn out better than those lol

I have done work in business process improvement for contract shoe manufacturers throughout Asia. Long story short - Nike doesn't push the contractors hard for quality for GR releases when they offer a phenomenally low price ex factory, and Nike knows that anything with an AJ1 silhouette will sell no matter what. They do the sums, and with a huge Jordan fan base that screams "Shut up and take my money", this is not an issue. Granted, the issues you have highlighted point to the shoe not being fit for purpose, but don't expect Nike/Jordan to suddenly start making shoes to the standards they did 20+ years ago.

I've been saying for the longest time, the swoosh on the Jordan 1 High OG (not the 85 cut) is too small. Even after the "remastered" program where they said they're supposed to be as close to the OG as possible. That's why the Jordan 1 High OG never looked quite right to me.

I think it’s getting molded the same way as the Erick koston Jordan 1 low SB. It has the same shape and my koston pair had that same curvy un flat bottom, it also has the same small swoosh and the same amount of eyelets as this one. Maybe do a comparison of the koston and the OG low? Maybe even throw the modern 1s in?

Quality on these is better than expected. Softer leather than AJ1 Low SB Eric Koston. Extra laces are a little darker grey than AJ1 Retro High 85 Neutral Grey. Missing eyelet on sz12.5, too. (Disclaimer: I am a fan of AJ1 Low OGs -- it was always the poor leather quality that bummed me out. So, I'm happy with these.)

They’re both the OG Low. One is just an original Low colorway whereas the other is an OG colorway placed onto the OG Low silhouette.

I just watched your Mystic Navy OG Low video. When I got the Neutral Grey I felt they were too big in my TTS. There was no way I could do loose fit laces. I got Nike Dunk Low half size smaller. Felt okay then felt too snug, also had the wave 🌊 in the bottom. I went half size lower because when I got a different color way in Dunk Low, still felt big, too long. How do you wear loose lace on lows? No slippage?
