One BIG Problem.. Salehe Bembury Crocs Review & On Foot

Today im taking a look at one of the craziest new Crocs out there, the Salehe Bembury x Crocs! This is the Urchin colourway that dropped on May 24th & retail price was £80/$85. These are pretty different to a regular pair of Crocs, so there’s a lot to get into!

There’s alot of shrink to fit hack video out there. It definitely works if u think they’re to big for your feet. The dryer video worked for me perfectly

I wear a woman 9.5-10. I have a pair of siz 7 and they are almost too big, but I think a 6 may leave my toes right at the toe. Must wear socks,, and I can double up for fall. I think they are just well wider than boots im used to wearing. The colour is fantastic IRL and looks gray or lavender depending on the light.

I would rock them, because i like futuristic shoes and crocks or shoes that are looking grazy so, i would buy them but not for now because they cost way too much in my opinion

I'd suggest looking at the fit profile for this shoe and going to a Crocs store to try another clog with the same fit profile for sizing. Classics and All Terrain Classics are still my favorites. They have the roomy fit profile. Plus you can "flair" them up with jibbitz or any other shoe charms.

I entered literally every raffle I possibly could and didn’t get a single W. Been wanting them so bad and reluctantly paid resale because I just need a pair and the prices are way better than the OG. Would have loved to have one of the OG colorways but I could never pay $400+ for any pair of shoes. Definitely was difficult to convince myself to pay $200 but I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pair of these for so long. 😭

I’d suggest those who don’t have crocs to go to a store and try them on. Crocs u wear Like sandals and slides. Normally u can size down bcuz there’s no insole or materials. I made the mistake grabbing my first pair tts of my sneaker size and they’re big

I got a couple pairs of these and I got a size 9 and I’m a size 9 regularly they are big but crocs are supposed to fit big as a Floridian we don’t wear crocs true to size but if you want a snug fit a Nike pro sock will do fine but go down if you want a true to size fit

In a vacuum I think the aesthetic is cool, like something you’d see in the High, or MoMA. But as a shoe I think they look goofy as hell. I feel the same about the foam runners

Has anyone tried shrinking these down a bit in heat? I know normal Crocs can be shrunk down about a half size in the dryer but unsure about these because of the clear panels

@@auggiemarsh8682 depends on the dryer. I just used two full size towels and wrapped my crocs into them. I probably had them the dyer for like 30 mins. But my dryer is old lol. I would wash some clothes and just throw them in with that load and check every 10-15 mins till they fit how you want.

Does anyone else find the back strap problematic? I only have so much heel... the shoe already has a back heel and when you fasten backstrap it seems to only go either behind the heel or inside (which is super annoying) or is it me?

On the Spunge drop, as soon as it was my turn to checkout, the size US11 in Stratus sold out. Went back to the main screen, the Urchin pairs were sold out as well. It seemed that Crocodile's were the only pairs that manual users were able to cop. I have a wide flat foot usually cop UK 11 in Nike/Jordan, UK 12 in Yeezy, & between UK11-11.5 in NB. Salahe said hes a US12, & wears US11 in his Crocs. So I hope if i get US 11, it fits me, don't own any Crocs & there isn't anywhere in my town to try them on.

Just got mine today and love them… However, my right foot slips out and I gotta really use the straps to tighten and I look like a I have a spoiler on the back lol. I have the same color way too, hopefully they fit better with socks, I ain’t exchanging these, shipped to me from Hong Kong. But the sizing is weird because my regular crocs are women’s size 9, but i definitely could have used an 8.5, but since there is no half sizes, an 8… And who knows how that would have fit. So I’m gonna just wear em proudly lmao

You can do either. I personally would recommend going for a 9, and using the clothes dryer method to shrink the Crocs with heat until they fit you perfectly. If you don't feel comfortable putting them in a dryer to shrink, I'd go for a size 8 but just know they may be too small.

@@carldiner8293 so I just got them and they’re pretty exact length wise, my big toe touches the end sometimes. It’s not unbearable but it’s super exact. If I got a 10 they’d for sure feel too spacious though. Try on some classic clogs and they should fit pretty similar. I tried on some classics locally in a 9 and my big toe touched the end a little more than on the Pollex ones though. So they’re a tiny bit larger than those but not by a huge amount.
