New Year's Eve & Holiday Cruise Prep | Weekly Vlog 2024
In this vlog we prepare for a very quiet New Year's Eve in the house with just one friend. We ate snacks played board games (Risk & Monopoly) and cheered the new year in whilst watching the London firework display on the tv.
Next its time to start preparing for our upcoming cruise. We leave the house on the 10th, fly on the 11th and board our cruise on 13th.
There is allot of clothes sorting and cleaning to be done.
Matt's parents will be house and cat sitting whilst we are gone.

Happy New Year boys. 🎇🎉🎊 Just to be clear Elliot. Those are not piles of laundry - they are mountains! lol Matt - I wouldn't get your hopes up that Elliot will return to the kitchen any time soon. For our Thanksgiving dinner we serve roast potatoes in Canada. Many prefer mashed though. In our household we make a wild rice side dish, sweet potatoes as well.

I can’t wait for your cruise videos. I’m going to save them up (so as not to break the continuity) and enjoy a binge watch. Edit: Sending lots of love. I can’t say I have SAD, but I do have autism with CPTSD and January is an awful month, after all the warm glow and comfort of Christmas is over, adjusting. You need time to just be, cry if it takes you, to process, plan little things that make you smile and fortify the soul. Both of you deserve this cruise!

Happy New Year , enjoy your cruise 😁🚢In addition to mashed potatoes, it's uncommon for there to be Sweet potato 🍠 casserole ( the side dish that sometimes will have marshmallows on top) and candied yams to be on the table as a side dish. Candied yams is more of southern side dish and most people buy a couple of cans and plop them in a pot on the stove with a few pats of butter 🧈 .
