That should be a 2 bed instead of trying to squeeze 3 rooms in. Once the average person or couple moves in with all their belongings they'll see how small it really is!

Lucky to get any form of hallway nowadays. We are squished in a shoe box of a 2 bed house, no hallway, straight into a tiny living room, which then goes straight into a kitchen garden. Although we are very lucky to have a home can honestly say this house is miserable to live in. 3 of us live here and come weekends and school holidays there is 4 of us. We have tried moving but no one wants such a tiny house. An with me being disabled I’m barely able to go out so stuck in this shit shoe box 24/7. I won’t have visitors as I’m so ashamed of how small the house is, people can’t help but walk in an either say oh my this is so tiny or you just see the look on their face even when they try to be polite and say lovely little house. An the expense is costs to dress any room in this house is unbelievable, we have gone through so many sofas, dining tables, and other furniture as nothing ever fits. Our living room consists of a corner sofa and tv unit and we’re still forever bumping into the furniture.

It's a lovely first time buy, albeit very expensive. I know space is limited, but it would be so nice if you didn't have to walk through the front room to get to the kitchen, ie I wish there was space for a corridor. Love you guys xxxxx

The problem is the price. If it was a reasonable price I wouldn't mind the size but nowadays these new houses are a ripoff. House builders especially Barrett Homes are beyond greedy

I love this house. The layout is good. The kitchen isn't too large, sometimes they are too massive in the new homes. I would upgrade the bath and add a shower and curtain, mandatory. Love the cubbie space in the Narnia wardrobe! Elliot you fit perfectly in there! The long curtains are ceiling to floor drapes! Thanks guys.

My wife and I have been to see this exact show home! It’s perfect for us both and we’re hoping to get the same style property, just at a different development. This looks pretty much exactly the same as a Taylor wimpey gosford.. it’s lovely but pricey for what it is, I couldn’t imagine having 4 people living there, especially if the kids are teens or young adults 😬

We live in an Ellerton. King size bed in the master bed is a very tight. As the door to the en suite comes out and hits the bed if the bed is at the centre. They have also moved the cubby hole into the landing area which is slighty narrower now in the hallway.

I was considering one of Barrett Homes 2 bedroom house which is the Rosemary but if this 3 bedroom Ellerton home is this small the 2 bedroom from them must be a literal shoebox

@@anthonyfaucy2761 the 3 bedroom is a little tight for a dog and 5 month old baby and working from home. But it’s manageable. It certainly won’t be our forever home as we will out grow this in a approx 5 years time I reckon

I think anyone with young children and a dog would not get on well with the layout. Having to go through the lounge to get to the kitchen a big no, no. The area with all the doors was a waste of space, but making sure the downstairs toilet is not connected to the kitchen a must. Liked the beep beep in the background sounded like the old Apolo days when NASA would talk to people on the moon or in space. Elliott got it right functional, the small bedroom perhaps a nursery but not really a bedroom. Seem to have gone over board on the principal bedroom and skimping on the others. I know many people would be happy here but it wouldn't be for me. A little too compact, the garden was tiny no good for a young family. Over priced and not a three bed really.

I just paid £260 for an Elerton, there's no way it's worth any more than that! Probably a bit less!! Nothing wrong with the quality of Barrett houses and the Elerton is a small three-bed, three-toilet, en-suite shower room. It's a first-time buyer or a downsizer!

Google says the Ellerton is 76sqm. That’s far too small for a 3 bed in my opinion. We need a huge revision on acceptable living standards in the UK, tiny houses are making people ill, stressed and depressed.
