Even when playing music that is difficult to understand, it still sounds great! Magic! The sorcerer of the guitar!

This beautiful work makes one wish that Carter had composed at least one major work for the guitar. But since he didn't, let's be grateful he did this one. Beautiful performance, full of verve and poetry. Bravo!

Great playing of a very difficult piece by one of our masters. Elliott Carter always takes us somewhere new with energy, continual development, and interesting sonorities. The smile on your face when you finished Mr. Dylla, makes me think that was the kind of look Bob Feller must have had after throwing one of his 100 mph fast balls. You just threw that fast ball with how beautifully you played that piece.

Very happy you recorded this! As a composer - guitarist I never take the time to practice it up to this perfection.... spend more time composing and improvising. His music inspires me always, and now even more so! Great sound also! Thanks! Will listen to your version many more times!

@@gilbertwalker3222 I suggest marcelo kayath's interpretation from the guitarcoop album Suites and Sonatas. On spotify and i think one of the classical guitar KZbin channels posted part of it. Two voices remarkably clear and mature choices of color. I'm currently learning that suite, it's great and challenging. Of course julian bream's is great as well, sharon Isbin's. And jason vieaux. Of course, you may have already heard these versions

Hey Marcin Dylla, I am a really fan of your person and your playing. And I personally invite you to play Bach's Violin Partita No.1 Fugue. My teacher says is almost impossible to play it perfectly and I think you are the one who can do it!
