I love this song and I have to share something really interesting. And beautiful. I was at my brother's house for an early Christmas event when I came across yet another one of your excellent Elliott rarities. I'm the only introvert in the family so after awhile I got exhausted from the merry making and took to the phone and found this. I saw the pic but couldn't listen to the song cuz everyone was so loud. My niece, who turned eight on November 16,ran over to me to check out what I was doing. She looked at the picture of Elliott and asked "Who's that?" in this kind of concerned voice. I told her he is a singer/songwriter, not going into the details, of course. After looking at the picture for kind of a long time she said "He looks really really sad" and then ran back to having fun. She's a very hyper kid but also has a very intuitive empathic side to her that is almost too advanced for her age. Somewhat eerie. Anyway, when I was leaving she hugged me and we said our I love yous and then she ran off again then ran back to me and said "oh, Aunt Vikki, I wanted to tell you! That picture of that boy you showed me? The singer? Well, um, he's okay cuz he's in heaven now and God is taking care of him. So he's all good now". And then she ran off again. Wtf! I was freaked out. Mind you, I had not told her anything about him and that was, I'm sure, the only time she had seen a picture of him.... This beautiful moment with Nikki, my 8 y. o niece, is the best Christmas gift I have ever been given. When I got home I listened to the song and cried mostly tears of joy. Merry Christmas to all of you.
