Ellis was active in his Jewish faith as a child, but he longed for a true connection with God. After accepting Jesus as his Messiah in college, Ellis built a foundation of faith which would carry him through life’s greatest challenges-and sustain him through sudden tragedy.

@Jerry Collins You are greatly deceived! Jesus Christ is Lord and He is alive and seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is 100% for real and I know Him. He has saved me, sealed me, washed me in his precious blood and given me the Holy Spirit. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord in heaven, on earth and under the earth, to the glory of God the Father! Ask Him to reveal Himself to you, ask with an open heart! He died for the sins of the whole world and salvation is the greatest gift that anyone can receive! God has healed me hundreds of times, delivered me from cigarettes and drugs, and has transformed my life! I have walked with Him for 7 years and the peace, rest and joy He gives are supernatural. He is coming soon! When millions of people go missing, along with the Holy Spirit, it's not going to be good for those still here! Repent of your sin, and call upon the name of the Lord! You will be so glad you did, it is the best thing that ever happened to me, ever! God bless you!

Thank you for sharing your experience of loss and grace and eternal love with me at this time. I recently lost my mother, this past month. I was empty for a moment because I was not prepared, I don't think anyone is really prepared, maybe accepting. I gentle accept the love and grace and abundant gentleness of Jesus Christ when I actually saw what Jesus had done for my mother. The kindness of transitioning from this time into eternal life with God. My mother, I would say when we think of Jesus carrying the cross to Golgotha, was the perfection of carrying the cross through this earthly life. If I should thing of love and loving a person, I vision my mother in this life and how she love the Lord. How faithful she was when she turn to Jesus in her life on earth. I did not understand her relationship with Jesus, I saw it through her friends and how she interacted with the people she knew in her final years. She is the daughter of God, the servant of Jesus, the quiet worker of the Lord, that only those who interacted with her and experience her time knew the gift of association with Jesus. The moment I realized I would no longer receive a telephone call again from my mother is the moment I understand the suffering of Jesus Christ and how He bore the cross and understand my mother walking in Jesus Christ footsteps. She bore the cross gentle, without fear and complain. She lived the life of the angel that God sent to be our mother. The angel who toiled without complain and the angel who loved without ceasing. Thank You God for directing our path and lending us an angel to be our mother. May her soul rest in peace. To God be the Glory.

Yes, brother, you are so right they are both safe with the Lord because of their faith in what He has done. I lost my 18-year-old son to cancer 24 years ago, but I do not grieve as others because he gave His life to Messiah, and I know one day, all this will change and there will be a great reunion and we will serve the Lord through eternity together. May you be blessed in your blessed hope, and I am so sorry for such a great loss.

Your story brought me to my knees. Your will to hold on and place all trust in the Lord Jesus is absolutely amazing. My Dad committed suicide in January of 2019 and it has left me in a terrible state. It’s nearly September and I feel las horrible as I did when the police first showed up at the door to tell me he’d taken his life. My parents divorced when I was very young (1991) and it has always been just me and my Mom. I’ve got end stage cystic fibrosis so it really complicates matters. Please pray for me. I’d really appreciate it.

Dear brother in Christ -- thank you for sharing the story of the riches you found in the Messiah -- how the Lord blessed you with a wonderful wife and daughter and then took them home to Himself. In my personal Bible reading time I am currently reading through the book of Job: "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. . .Blessed be the name of the Lord!" You are a reminder how true and timeless those words are and challenges the viewers to keep things in their proper, eternal perspective! 2. Corinthians 4:16-18 comes to mind. May God renew your inner man day by day as you look forward to the eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison! Looking forward to meeting and rejoicing with you in eternity! -- a church-planter in Germany

A very moving testimony of real faith and love ! Just think of it , now his wife and daughter are together enjoying Heaven in their glorified bodies! Read ,"Heaven is for real". A testimony of a 4 year old who died in the hospital ,went to heaven and then in answer to his father's prayer , returned to earth and remembered much of what he had seen. He is about 19 now. It is hard and sad to wait to see your loved ones in Heaven , but that makes the reunion all the more sweet ." Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints (or Godly people)". ( The verse is from The Holy Bible ).God is The God of ALL Comfort !

So, then what? If every Jew in the world accepts Jesus, what's next? All the world will be coming to Jerusalem to learn how to get right with God, but what will they hear from us if we are indistinguishable from the Christians? We need to be figuring out how to be Jewish Christians. Does that mean we still have to obey all of the mitzvot? What shall we say about the Temple when it is rebuilt, but we don't do the sacrifices anymore? Do we go back and try to live like it says in the Mishna? That would be comparable to the Sharia, even if far more rational and merciful (not to mention that Islam has always been a patently false religion). People will want to know how Jews who believe in Jesus have changed their lives, and the Christians will want to know how to be even better as Christians. Will there be such a denomination as "Orthodox Jewish Christians"? It sounds like anathema. I guess what I am asking is: how are you still Jewish? How do you practice being Jewish while being a Christian? I struggle with that.

JESUS explains the answer to your question and the answers are in The New Testament. Our distinction: We Jews must see, we are special because although we are meant to see, many of us already have, we are still blessed, regardless our weaknesses in faith. JOHN 20-29 JESUS said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.”
